MFSR Plexiglass Question

I was watching a YouTube video recently and they spoke of the plexiglass that was placed in the Smugglers Run ride "pods". They spoke about how the plexiglass divides the cockpit into two sections, one for four person parties and one for two.

Is this true? If so, how are they divided? Are front four seats one "group," leaving the back two as the other? Or something different?

I knew they added the dividers to increased ridership (no issues on my end about that) but assumed it was added between all the seats.

Thanks in advance!

Party of 4 or less sits at the front, 2 pilots and 2 gunners. Party of 2 or 1 in the back for engineers

It looks like there is plexiglass between all the seats. Weird they would limit the parties of two/one to the engineer seats in the back then.

EDIT: My mistake, it looks like it's just the middle two seats. There is a "side" to the glass that angles forward that made it look like there is class on the pilot seats, but there is not.
