MF's at the BWV

I would say with a great deal of certainty that we will see an increase.

Sorry about the abbreviation, I have a mental block on spelling the word maintenance. Did I get it right? I guess I am so disneyfied, I didn't even see the "other" interpretation.

Just a semi-related question: Does Disney ever offer an explanation as to WHY fees go up a particular amount? general inflation has generally been 1 to 3% for a long while, yet the maint fees at DVC seem to increase at a rate 3 times that. It makes me a little uncomfortable about buying if they could decide to jack up the dues 15% a year.

OKW and SSR are the only ones I've seen posted so far, and they are about 3.7% increase over last year.

Yes, we can see exactly where the increases are by looking at the breakdown of the dues when we get them in December. Right now, for instance, it appears that almost all of the increases at OKW and SSR are due to an increase in property tax rates that apparently have been applied across all of Florida.

In the past, the main cost increase culprits seem to be insurance (think hurricanes) and taxes. Neither of those two ever seem to go down.

I just added on BWV and my guide said the new dues were $4.85 (if I remember correctly) --

4.85? Not terrible. Certainly less than some of the other florida resorts. The MF's at the BW are pretty high compared to some of the other resorts and are only less than Vero. Thanks for the info.
