MF on borrowed points?

We bought a resale contract through Time Share Store. I'm still waiting on my closing documents and have a couple of questions.


When borrowing points from the next year, do you have to pay the maint fees at the time that you borrow them into the current year?

Will there be a detailed explanation of the DVC system and all the little nuances included with my paperwork (so I don't ask as many annoying questions on these boards )

Maintenance fees are charged and paid annually in January for the number of points you own. Borrowing them has nothing to do with paying maintenance fees, because you will pay them annually...Doesn't matter if you borrow them, bank them, use them, lose them...

As Diane said, no you do not. Many points systems do require you pay the fees to borrow and in some cases, reserve in the next use year.
