Mexican Wood Carvings

Does anyone know if there is a web site for the oaxacan woodcarvings that are sold at the Mexico pavilion in epcot? I would like to add to our collection and can't see to find any info. Any help would be appreciated.

I've looked around and could not find anything. My husband is Mexican and we like to decorate the house with woodcarving or paintings from Mexico. Every Disney visit we pick up as many pieces as we can, but unfortunately I haven't found anything online. For this reason I am planning our next trip in June..

NOTE: While working in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico, we used to make weekend trips, and vivited Oaxaca (state) and Oaxaca (city) often.

Try ebay...we found a bunch of wonderful vendors on there. oaxacan carvings have a huge amount of vendors. I've had good luck with Oaxacan Collector. He also has some really nice tin items as well.

I love Oaxaca!! My sister and I visited Oaxaca two years ago, and they called the carved wooden animals "alebrijes". Knowing what they're called might help in your search. Good luck!
