Sorry Robin - just wanted to double check on the name - Looks like I will have to finally break down and visit Hawaii huh? I just skimmed the article but sounds interesting.

I have found that any other vacations are now totally spoiled for me - I seem to find myself comparing everything to "how Disney would have done it."

I am so bad - is there any hope for me?

Nope.... and I do the same thing, comparing that is. I have Disney on my mind all the time. Think if I stayed off the DIS for a while and got ride of all my Disney art on my walls than I could forget for a little bit???....Nahhhhhhh

Thats strange here try this...also have you looked for the little smiley face above on your main page thiingy...browser...will your soft wear let you DL it? you may need to turn something off for 30 seconds while you DL itt.

Hi Robin - I think I will have to wait until DD gets home from a party - I just attempted to download it and it went somewhere - LOL - if I ask DH he'll go on the blitz again. Earlier this week I managed to knock out both computers - upstairs and downstairs dino with my flash drive of pictures all within 15 minutes of each other. . I told him it wasn't my fault, that it was the 8gb flash drive he gave me to use but he wasn't buying it. I think I have that condition where things electronic and digital just do on the blink for me. Its always something with me.

when you DL it just click "RUN" dont click "SAVE" but it will still save it.....try that

We are doing ok. we live in Riverside County not far from San Bernardino Mts. and north of San Diego Co. We are getting alot of smoke and ash here. It's not easy to breathe outside. We keep the girls inside for now. The wind still blowing here but not as bad. Vern

I feel like I'm such a slacker. Just when you think life will slow down a little! Work and children keeping me busy, and now Christmas shopping

I keep hoping that they will post the excursions soon! I still need to get airline tickets too.

DH is out in Colorodo hunting elk. Just what I need another dead animal hanging in the house!

Hopefully I will find time to post again soon. I just got done wolfing down my lunch. Maybe I can lose the wait I want before the cruise

I totally understand! It is so hectic this time of year.

I would like to ask for ideas on how to surprise my DH with this cruise as a Christmas present. I did buy the Disney Store tropical print shirts and dresses for the four of us, and thought I would wrap those up, but need more ideas. Anyone?

Nice to see your still around. Nov and Dec is enough at times to make ya wanta say "Bah Humbug" to much to do so little money to spend.I went out and bought Dh a 58" Plasma HD Tv and a plane ticket home to see his Mommy. He has not seen her in years so it will be good for him.

His Mommy is a wack job but we get along good. Might be because she lives 3000 miles away and never comes to visit because she wont leave her home town

Great deals on plane tickets this week. We got a round trip from SanDiego to Newark and back for $364.00 Booked it today for as soon as next week. Can you believe that....just 2 weeks before Christmas at that price, go figure. Great deals on car rentals also.

So how have you all been anyway....hope your all well. Hope you all check back soon. Have a great blessed day

Hey Everybody - I'm still alive. Just been so busy with kids, playing chauffer, and running errands. Lots to dish about but not enought to bore you all with.

I will say one thing though - I am having a hard time getting into the Christmas Spirit - I'm hoping that I will be hit over the head soon enough.

DD14 just walked a 26.2 mile Marathon with her school on Sunday, Dec 2. Its a yearly thing that is supposed to inspire "young adults" with the awareness of other people's plight. They start in East LA and end up at Santa Monica passing through Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive and other ritzy places. The girls finished just under 12 hrs and are still sacked out at 11:40 am. Then to top it all off - she has a soccer game at 2 pm today. Poor girl - I loaded her up with ibuprofen and made her take a long soak - she usually start for her JV team.

So that is what's been up with me. Decided to check up on this thread and found it on page 3 - what's up with that? Gotta get a bit more chatty I guess! Me that is - but somehow I think that won't be a problem.
