Mexican Riviera July 20, 08...Hola Amigos

I found some info and posted it on the first page. on excursions....

Hola Amigos!!

Well, it's been a while. Sorry we haven't been around. Wish I could say we've been on vacation,:sad1: no such luck.

Well, DSD is visiting from Utah for the whole month. DH and DSD have already checked out the Subs at DL. DH siad that the beginning is pretty much as he remembers it, but that the new stuff on the inside is way cool. :cool2:

I am sure they will be at DL more often than not. DH plans to take her to Knott's at least once. DSD has gotten seriously into the roller coasters in the past year, so she needs an adrenaline rush this summer. :woohoo: I'm happy to let them do Knott's. Me, I still prefer all things Disney.

Well, we're a little over one year away from the MexRiv! I am wondering what kind of shore excursions any of y'all are thinking about. We were looking to scuba dive, but don't know where. DH isn't much for guided tours, he likes to free-wheel it.

Oh, well, let's sign off for now...TTFN :tigger:

This is our second pool. Around here there are no pool guys! We do have them open and close the pool however. At least I have someone to come clean my house!:thumbsup2 Too bad she doesn't do laundry!:sad2:

We are going to Idaho at the end of the month to visit my dad and stepmom. They will both be coming on the cruise with us. I am going Thursday to add them to the cruise and to start planning our pre cruise stuff in California:woohoo:

My DS9 is mouthy now, I'm not looking forward to 13:scared1:

Would be nice if the kids would just say "Yes mom what ever you say mom":thumbsup2

Will be doing our camping thing for 10 days in a couple of weeks and on the 13-14-15 will be hanging with the girl friends at DL grandaclifornian...we can say"Look no kids and look no Husbands" boy akm I looking forward to that:rotfl:

Will be barbacuing aqt the park/lake tomorrow and they have bands from 1-9 than the fireworks....plenty of friends there with there kids and lots to do.

Well all have a great day and will check back later.;)

Went to TA today and added dad and stepmom to reservation.

Stepmom doesn't like crowds a lot, but hey this way they can visit with grandkids, and stay later at night with them so maybe this time DH and I can enjoy some nightlife:cool1: :woohoo: :woohoo: :yay: :yay:

Was going to book some time at Grand Califorinian beforehand and they haven't released those dates yet:confused3 What gives. At least we should be able to get the room we want. Any suggestions?

Im still waiting also. DVC has not released there pts value yet either. So no one can book yet. It is driving me crazy. The closer it gets the more we will have to fight for a room. The GC is very big so should have no trouble.

We are doing concierge and want to be sure to be able to get that.

Either way I just cant wait....

We want to do the concierge as well. I'm trying to decide which view is best. Does anyone have any ideas? I got on Disboards Disneyland and asked. I just wondered if anyone here had any opinions?
It is also driving me crazy! I like to know what I'm doing, I'm too much of a planner!:scared:

Have always done the garden or center view. That has always been great for us. Also cheeper. We are going to do the Concierge because of the food/snakes and free wine:dance3:

Hey Robin and anyone out there interested -

I have decided to attempt a blog of my crazy summer vacation - Here it is - please bear in mind that I am very new at this and as I get more comfortable I will attempt more. Also, I keep hearing how slow the connection onboard the ship is so I might be delayed,

Anyway, I am in single digit counting days as we leave on the 25th of July.

Well, if your interested- I placed a little history on my adventures in the blog.

I hope you enjoy. I decided to do this in the hopes that this time I will follow through and maybe keep some type of memory of my dream vacation alive.

Enjoy!

Yea - I'm watching the clock but not for the reasons you suspect, I still haven't packed yet! :scared1: And my oldest dd just told me she intends to pack on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday! My gray hairs are definitely showing now!

Thank you for the Bon Voyage! :yay:

howdy everyone:cool1:

well here I sit on my laptop lisening to the band up on the stage in front of the fire in our fire pit drinking my Bella Serra Pinot Grigio Wine mixed with Peach Boons Farm...yes Boons Farm wine...:rotfl:

We have had a great time. I entered the pie eating contest today and came in 4th. But it was against all men and 1 other woman. Last year and the year before I came in 1st:rotfl2:

The Sea World fire works will be starting in about 30 mkinutes and can see then from our camp site. WE have a view of the Bay and are right across from Sea World:thumbsup2

I have played kick ball, Dodge ball(my favorite) flag football and vollyball and danced in the tent with the DJ last night, bike riding and we just got here yesterday at 3 in the afternoon....:dance3:

Have lots of friends coming tomorrow and another Band will be playing again. Need more Boones Farm and Pinot Grigio :lmao:

So what are you all doing????

Hi all! First time posting on this thread. Eeyorelvr10 - I see that you went on the July 23rd 2005 cruise. We did too! I know we all had a meet in the lounge. Your screen name is very familiar...do you recall the excursions you did on that cruise? We did a beach creak in PV and went with Randi's horses on Stone Island (my son calls it MazatLAND..never fails to crack me up). Anyway, I am going to subscribe to this thread now that we are officially at the 1 year point.

This will be our 3rd cruise for my family: myself, DH, our DD (who will be turing 11 on the day we disembark) and DS (8).

Looking forward to meeting you all!
