Are metrosexuals only men? Trying to figure out what the heck that it is. Something in regards to trendy, enlightened straight men?

Thanks for the link..... so Brad Pitt is considered a metrosexual guy as well as Puff Daddy. This is a good trend to get guys away from baggy pants and general sloppiness.

Never hear the term. I always think of Dana Carvey's character in the SNL skit Lyle the Effeminate Heterosexual.

Go visit Barneys New York and you know what that means. The latest buzz word is heterogay. It pretty much means straight men who loves shopping and spa-ing as much as women do, and not afraid to show it. I personally would add that metrosexuals are more threatening because they have really good tastes and are generally good looking but would fight with you during sales.

My boyfriend is such a metrosexual. He carries a Louis Vuitton (mens) wallet, enjoys sephora mens products, and really cares about his appearance. Other than that, hes (unfortunately) got all the normal straight male qualities

I have converted my DH into one too. He now cannot live without Keihls lip balm. (Poor him, have to watch Sex and the City every week when it's on).

I first saw this mentioned in Time Magazine recently.

In conjunction with the "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy " show. In other words, the " fab five" as they are referred to maybe offer metrosexual guidance to sloppy straight guys!
