Look who has decided to rejoin the land of the Dis ??!!

Chad has also started frogging with his friends.. and now ive joined in. Who would have thought I would enjoy mucking around in a swamp at midnight!!??

Ive got my 80's outfit all ready complete with leggings and pumps all ready LOL!
I will NOT however be sporting a side pony tail or large bangs.. sorry to disappoint!

Froggin' is a hoot - just watch out for those big yellow eyes! It's been too long since I've had frog legs....time to remind my BILs it's time for a cookout!

I have an aggravating problem. We have a bird by our house who loves to terrorize my family. When you go outside to get the paper or the mail, he swoops down really fast and almost touches your face. It happens so fast, it really startles you. It used to just do this to my DH and DS, but yesterday, the stupid thing scared the life out of me when he did this to me when I went to get the mail. Today, I opened the door to get the paper about 1/2 hour ago, and chickened out because I am afraid of a little bird

That's downright scary!

I need to catch up on all of you lives, so ill spend some time reading in the next day or two. Right now im off to get a pedicure. I am going out dancing tonight with my gaggle of girlfriends to 80's night for my bday.

Kathy, it is SCARY. I shouldn't be scared of a little bird, but you dont know where he/she is and all of a sudden whooosh I finally got the newspaper on the way back from exercising this morning. I pulled the car right up to the paper, got out real fast and grabbed it and jumped back in the car. Pathetic, huh?

Lori, the way you described the mushroom salad has my mouth watering.

Terry, its a shame--Eddie Murphy used to make hilarious movies. I hope he goes back to making good films. "Harlem Nights" and "Trading Places" are two of the best funny movies I've ever seen.

All is well with us, just a very very busy summer. Ive been popping on here but just for a few mins at a time and its just to check a friend of mine's thread on the family board.

We have been super busy with Jack, tball, swim lessons, playdates , we also spend almost everyday at the pool.

Chad and I started taking west coast swing dance lessons at the local dance studio and enjoying it so much are thinking of taking more lessons.

Hey y'all, Quick checkin. Alexis has been rather needy this week. The wake & funeral is tomorrow. I will be taking her, instead of having her there the whole time, especially when the family first gets there. Say some prayers that she gets through it okay.

Lorie, DD went through the puppy stage, she was under 2. I actually caught her lapping up water out of the dog's bowl!!! I totally freaked, brushed her teeth & gums about 5 times!

Well, I'll be thinking of Alexis tomorrow. I think it is good for her to go to the wake and funeral, but on a limited time frame. We have experienced this type of thing many times with the kids-they need closure too.
She has a good mama abd nana to get hugs from.

On a GREAT note, my DB called me and he and my SIL asked me to be Olivia's godmother!!!! I am very excited. I am more excited b/c we have already been to WDW together and I can always tell her this on future trips!

I'm finally going for a mammogram. I'm supposed to have one yearly but it's been since before Katrina, I'm just now getting to the point where I'm taking care of myself again. My life was all about my parents for so long I actually forgot how to care for myself.

We all had a ball last night, dancing our booties off. I looked so freakin cute LMAO , but not nearly as cute as the boys dressed up in full Olivia newton john costumes, It was GREAT!
Hopefully my girlies will send me the pics soon and i can post some pics.

I think Im going to work on my Disney trip schedule, I saw Samantha Brown show on Orlando last week and Im dying to make a trip into Winter Haven ( i think thats the name) to visit the wine shop , so i need to revamp some dinner reservations and get book Jack a sitter for one evening.

My hubby's best friend's girlfriend told me last night she thinks she is pregnant, Im super excited , im hoping to be a nanny too. It would have been nice if they were hitched, but im sure that will come .

Hi NOLA.

We got back from Orange Beach yesterday about 5:00. We had a great couple of days floating around the lazy river. Here is a picture of us from Guy Harvey's Island Grill. For those who visit Gulf Shores/Orange Beach it's at the Wharf. The food was fabulous! I had a crabcake sandwich that was yummy. Mark had the coconut shrimp and the sauce that came with it was awesome.

Did ya'll stay at the Caribe? We went there last year and thought the lazy river was great there. I also love the wharf in Orange Beach. I wish we had something like that around here. We went there last Labor Day ate and shopped at the wharf, and then saw Gretchen Wilson at the Ampitheatre there

Also, you have a great-looking family

So we were at Aquatic Gardens this morning having a grand time looking at the fountains and plants when DD slipped and fell into a fountain. She has a busted lip and scraped up chin, but she's okay. Oy vey, bigtime drama there. So our morning has sort of gone down the tubes- poor DD looks like she lost a round with Mike Tyson!

Sheryl- I hope all went well yesterday.

Tricia- Nice pic- looks like y'all were having a great time!

Lori- We used to sell Pontchartrain Vineyards wine when I worked at Whole Foods- it was pretty good! I know some of the people from our dept took a field trip there and had a good time! And congrats on being godmother!

Kathy- Congrats on the 10 lbs! I have been struggling with my weight loss still- I lost five pounds but have hit a plateau, yet again. I have plateau issues apparently. Keep up the hard work!
