Anyone have any tips on keeping cats out of the landscaping?

And squirrels out of my potted herbs? In pots on top of plant stands, those little suckers dug up several of my herbs, to bury pecans!

How did they fare with the fierce weather last night? I immediately thought about you when I saw the tornado warnings on the Weather Channel last night, wondering whether you were here or back in Arkansas.

Fortunately my dad and sister are just fine - as are their houses - but boy is it bad there. Per my sister - I am still in New Orleans.

The house next door to my dad and the house across the street both have BIG trees down - on the house next door. At the end of our street there are LOTS of trees down. My sister is supposed to take some pictures and email them to me.

My sister's house is about a mile and a half away - she said there is lots of damage starting about 2 blocks from her. So far I have not heard of any fatalities though. The power is out.

My dad told me that little Breaux (the puppy) was not scared by the storm at all. My dad (87) told me that nothing scares him either.

I'll probably drive back tomorrow just to check on things. I am glad this did not happen 2 weeks ago when I was in D.C. and my sister was in Calif.

So glad to hear that your Dad & Sis are okay! But that sounds way too close!

We had a good time. Too short! The Flower and Garden Festival is going on at Epcot so that is always pretty. We ate at 'Ohana and LeCellier - I had never been to either before. We got in some good pin trading, too!
