Metro New Orleans DISers - check in!!! - Part II

Good morning NOLA!

Sheryl - Please update when you have news. I'm praying for y'all.

Good morning ladies.

Lori what great news about Ashton. I know you never really stop worrying but I hope this will give you piece of mind.

Sheryl I'm praying for little Alexis. I hope they find out what's wrong this time.

Morning Y'all,

Thanks for all the support & prayers. Just waiting for test results to come back later today.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Ladies...

Sheryl - I am also praying for your little angel. It is so gut wrenching to see them suffer and feel as if you have no control.

Lori - congrats on the good news. :yay:

Lorie - I am soooo glad dd's school went to the zoo about 3 weeks ago. It was crazy hot but not too packed. I am so SCARED of catepillars and dd is as well. I would have been hysterical.:scared1:

Have a good day all.

Hi gang! Just popping in to say a quick hello!

Kathy - I'm thinking this has been you the past few days :cloud9: ! Too cool to have the sports coverage on Kyle make the home page of nola.com! What a way to celebrate his senior year.

Sheryl - Prayers & positive thoughts headed your way for Miss Alexis. Hope they can get figure out what's causing her discomfort. Fingers crossed that it's a misdiagnosed bladder infection.

Lori - Great news on Ashton's chemo study results! You've got living proof that's she was well taken care of, but a few scientific statistics to back it up never hurt!

Lorie - Yep, the stinging caterpillars are out here as well. Saw some in the Sam's parking lot (of all places) last week. Hope this record-breaking cold snap will send them back into hibernation!

Hey y'all,

They didn't find anything in the culture. They are going to do an ultrasound this afternoon. Say some prayers please.

Sheryl

Hey, just getting back from "making groceries"

Lori, I don't how I missed your post earlier, but that is wonderful new about Ashton.

Sheryl, I will continue to pray for that sweet little Alexis.

Lorie, those fat, hairy caterpillars always have creeped me out. We used to get them a lot in old house. Sometimes the branches would look like they had black fur on them:scared1:

I am praying for Alexis now...................

..............Please let us know how she is. I prayed for nothing to be wrong that cannot be fixed easily and without pain. and/Or for nothing at all to be wrong.

Lori

Oh Sheryl, I am praying for Alexis.

I did go walking yesterday. I walked for 20 minutes and did just under a mile. Getting ready to go and try for 30 minutes. Today I feeling so tired.

Hey Y'all,

Thanks sooo much for all the prayers! Keep them coming!:grouphug:

Well again they didn't find anything. The ultrasound tech did the full abdomen scan, then had the doctor look at it, who then came in & did it again. Then they had "head honcho" come in who took another look himself. They told us they didn't see anything unusual at all. Appendix, kidneys, you name it, they looked & didn't find anything.:confused3

Chris hasn't spoken with the ped. yet, we're hoping she'll want to wait & see a couple of days before running anymore tests. We are guessing cat scans would be next & more blood work.

Thanks again for all the prayers, I'll keep y'all updated.

Stephanie, Good job on the walking! :thumbsup2 Getting started is the hardest part!

That's good news. I'll keep her in my prayers until this situation is solved to everyone's satisfaction.

Since I wasn't feeling well I waited until DH came home to go walking. So after dinner we went to the park and I did 7 laps...5 laps=1 mile. I felt good afterwards. Around lap 4 or so I felt ready to quit, but Dh said come on just a few more laps...then to get my mind off of it he started talking about our trip next year!
