An Aints funeral, what's next

I'm in a funky mood and don't know why... so I'm staying to myself for a while.

It will be alright. I am a funky mood myself.. I went to bed yesterday around 10 and am just now getting up and about. Tomorrow I won't allow myself to be so lazy, but today it just felt good. I am sure all the excitement of the Saints in the Superbowl, then winning the thing plus Mardi Gras has seen many people come back to Earth with quite a hard thud this weekend.

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday, but I was sick and miserable all day! My body finally gave in to this cold I've been fighting off and I just rested all day. I'm feeling much better today.

Erik's dr appt gave very little info- no ear infection, just an irritated throat, which is probably why he's refusing the bottle and so terribly cranky. She thinks that maybe he caught a cold and then caught another virus just after he was getting over the cold. Still no antibiotics....I swear, you have to be on the verge of death to get antibiotics nowadays. Neither of my kids have ever gotten an antibiotic prescription- the dr always says to let the body fight the infection off itself.

Now that you mention it, Spencer rarely gets an antibiotic where I always had at least one bottle of ongoing antibiotic in my fridge while the older two boy were young.

I'm in an icky mood too. Woke up sick this morning, so Tim and I decided to cancel the Gatlinburg trip.

riesmom- sorry you are feeling bad.

We have been having headaches and tummy issues, but I REALLY think it is b/c we can't sleep, too. My eyes are STILL red, but they got better before they got worse again. Ashton's eyes are bugging her too. Her right eyelid is a little swollen. I REALLY )) think it is from being in an apartment-with apartment carpet, furniture(corp apt is furnished) and smells and new allergens to our bodies. Her eyelid has been "pounding"(her word) a little too. This is enough to give me an uneasy feeling- not worried yet- but anything surrounding ANYTHING from her previous medical history sits there in the way back parts of my head.

I tried our doc at home today but she didn't answer(it's her cell phone), but just to say hey(a long overdue phone call), and ask her an opinion about her eye.
The eye is not protruding or anything, just her eyelid is bugging her. IF it protruded, you'll find me high on valium.

We got an email from the agent this morning-it MAY be Tuesday. go figure.

I need to find a doc. Just hoping to do it AFTER we are in the house and area we will be living in.

Up late from a full day of washer/dryer shopping and seeing Percy Jackson- then the 4 of us split an appetizer and an entree at Planet Hollywood with leftovers. We had an early dinner and it was too late to eat more than that! We got home about 1am!

Didnt pick one up but found on ebay for 5.99 and free shipping.
Seller also has purple and gold and Black with gold fleur de lis.

I ordered one of each LOL.
