Merry Christmas to you too!
I try to have a low-stress Christmas... preferably spending Christmas Day with DH and the kids here at home in our jammies. Last year, DH and I went back to doing a nice spread of good deli meats and breads and sides for our "Christmas Dinner" (which is what we used to do before we had kids). It was so relaxing... open presents, play with presents, graze a bit, play some more, read a book, graze some more, call the extended family, take a nap....
This year, it looks like DH will be having some surgery in early-to-mid-December and will still be recovering at Christmas. I've got most of the Christmas presents bought as well as many of the non-perishable holiday food ingredients. I've decided to wait and send out Christmas letters this year... people may be getting New Year's letters instead... and that's okay too.
