what are the usual showtimes for these shows at mgm park?thanks for any info.

I have the "Times Guide and New Information" from our recent trip dated 9/26/04 - 10/02/04. It shows the MGM hours for Playhouse Disney as....(Daily) 10:00, 10:45, 11:45, 12:30, 2:00, 3:00, 4:15, 5:00 and for Voyage of the Little Mermaid (which we loved!) as....(Daily) from 9:45 to 6:30.

I found the hardest part of touring MGM was trying to schedule the day around all the show and parade times. We did fit in everything we wanted to see this time!! Last time we didn't realize the specific show times and missed Indiana Jones. We were bummed, but really enjoyed it this time and my husband even made the show as an extra!! People even recognized him three days later at TL!! Have fun!!

Welcome to DIS!! It would help to know what time of year you are going. We were there this summer and I know Disney Playhouse had some showings later in the day from Thurs-Sunday. Earlier in the week it only ran during day hours. Definitely pick up an MGM show schedule--the daily guide ASAP. Mermaid replays something like every 20 minutes.

There are also a few places online where you can find a schedule a few weeks in advance. Steve Soares site on Disney Entertainment is one, but I don't have the link to that. You could do a Google search or just search on the Dis Board.

When we went over Easter we were able to see the 1st mermaid show. When it was over we all ran to Playhouse and saw it!

Matt has another great MGM site...maybe www.mgmstudios.org

For some reason I remember thinking it's a dot-org, but I'm not sure. He usually posts the link when he sees questions like this....

Ok, I double checked and the above link works.

Hope that helps!

Welcome to the Dis, celt33. The Steve Soares Site mentioned by Swilphil has show times for all 4 parks for the current week. The site is updated on Sunday morning, if I recall correctly. As said above, Mermaid isn't a problem, since it offers continuous shows. I agree with TJKatie - the hardest part about MGM is trying to schedule in the shows as well as any PSes you might have, and it used to be even harder when they had the Hunchback show.

The shows that will normally be more difficult to schedule are Beauty and the Beast, Indiana Jones, Playhouse Disney, and Who Wants to be a Millionaire, which may be offered between 4 and 8 or so times a day.

I have to second the advice to pick up a show schedule each day at MGM (and at every other Disney park, for that matter).

Have fun!

Steve's website (AWESOME info on times for shows in ALL parks) is updated on Saturdays!
