Disney use to have some Mickey heads lights for Easter, Xmas etc. Apparently it was discontinued because I can't find any. A fellow cm told me it was gone. I wish they bring it back. Those lights had excellent quality and they look super cute on my big window. I have a few but I can't make the design I wanted all across the windows.:sad::sad: Please bring those back!

**I also wish the grown up shirts weren't so much about Mickey, Minnie, Grumpy and Tinkerbell. While I adore them it would be awesome to have princess, villans, or random character shirts.

**Peter Pan and Pinocchio merchandise. I get a lot of guests asking why Peter Pan or Pinocchio don't have more merchandise. I wish I had the answer and more importantly I wish I had the power to make it happen.

What is the Disney merchandise that you either wish you could buy again or wish they would bring in? Do you have a picture?

I'd love to see more Epcot exclusive shirts. They used to carry a different design each year with the flags of all the countries in World Showcase on them. Some with Mickey, some with the Epcot logo, etc.
Of course they were better quality then. I have some that I've had for over 10 years and they are heavier than what's sold now and they aren't even faded!!!
All in all, I don't have a specific gift type item or something for a small child, but I do miss the park shirts/sweatshirts that weren't available in every store on the block!

PAL MICKEY!

I love him. He sells ( on ebay and such) for 2 to 3 times what people bought him for originally, so there is still an interest in him. Since his outfits are nearly impossible to find, I have taken to making him clothes. For our upcoming trip, he has a new gondolier and a chef outfit. I still have to make him a MNSSHP costume.

Here are 2 official outfits

Resort specific merchandise like t-shirts, hoodies, and other items. I have a hoodie from the Boardwalk and a t-shirt and bracelet charm from WL but there's nothing available now.

Retro T-shirts and Monorail Playsets, I have a few but I have to get them all on E-Bay and they are way expensive

Retro T-shirts and the monorail playsets, the only place to get them now is on Ebay and they are expensive and hard to find

resort specific mugs.

i hate that they are all general now - i loved the specific ones

My son wants the Tomorrowland Speedway playset and you can't buy it anymore.

Also, we looked everywhere for Bugs Life merchandise, but there isn't any--a CM told us that they get asked all the time for it and that we should write Disney requesting it.

Back in 2006, I was able to buy a cute black tank top with a glittery Cinderella carriage bedazzled on the front.

During our recent trip, I couldn't find any adult princess shirts. :(

Our family had a Christmas tree ornament of a Monorail vehicle. It now belongs to a brother who doesn't even like Disney. Yet, he likes trains and will not part with the ornament.

For several years we have searched for a replacement monorail ornament, but have had no magic. I have found one on line where Mickey is strangely large and popping out of the top of the front section of a monorail, but the scale is all wrong.

I really just want my monorail car to put on the tree.

In addition, I could use some Minnie Mouse headbands made for an adult sized head. All the headbands are too small and seem better suited to a child or young adult. I want to wear Minnie without getting a brutal headache. I had a great headband from the early 90's but it finally broke, and I haven't found a comfy one since.

I just wish they would have more merchandise from the movies. We went last year and could not find any Ratatouille merchandise, not even in France in WS.

Also all the older movies like Aladdin, Lion King and such, I didn't see too many items from those.

I know. We looked all over for Bolt merchandise last year (my son specifically wanted a stuffed Bolt) and all we found were some books and pins.

In all earnestness, things with less branding on them. When I was young we used to bring back cocoanut pirate heads. They weren't "pirate mickeys", they weren't written on, they were just something non-plastic that had to do with pirates/the Carribean.

Also, I remember buying a magic kit on Main Street and ... it was not made by Disney (gasp!) and it didn't have characters on it (double gasp!) It was charming little thing from a small specialty outfit in the midwest somewhere. Also, I bought a Casablanca poster in DHS (then MGM). You think you'd see a Warner Brothers poster in a Dinsey store now (that wasn't a 500$ collectible)?

Seriously, I know it's Disney, but I could do with a little scaling back on the synergy and branding.

This past year they did not have a MNSSHP picture frame. I like to put my group picture in that. They also stopped having a MNSSHP stuffed Mickey and Minnie( not just a Halloween one, but one you could just get at MNSSHP) in the last few years. I think this past year they only had T-shirts, pins, and magnets.

Oh, and also the talking monorail magnet! I still have 2 on my refrigerator but I'm always dreading the day that they die.

Adult Princess shirts. Hey I love the Princesses too.

I want more creative pins.

More retro Epcot merchandise.;):lovestruc

I agree!:thumbsup2

The general rule of thumb I like to follow when buying souvenirs is that the item should not be something that we can purchase back home. For instance, sweatshirts I buy for the kids must say "Walt Disney World" - not just a screenprint of Mickey Mouse or some other character like you can order online at The Disney Store or from WalMart.

For DH and I, we LOVE sweatshirts from the Resorts we stay at. I have one from the Polynesian & one from the GF. DH has been wearing his Wilderness sweatshirt for over 10 years now!!!! Each trip he looks for a new one, but they just don't have the selection anymore.:sad2:
