Not sure about the Animator's Palate menu. The themed nights look delicious. Also not sure about Parrot Cay. If I tell waiter the first night that Im trying to stay away from rich cream sauces will he make suggestions? How about getting plain salads without the added dressings, etc?

Not to worry. The staff will accomodate any request - even if it's not on the menu. My wife has reflux and cannot eat spicey food or anything with tomatoes. I swear she had broiled salmon every night.

Me, on the other hand, had no such restrictions. And being the gentlemen I am, I tasted everything for her and described to her exactly what she was missing.

I did not really care for the menu at Parrot Cay, so I just ordered a steak and there were no problems with that. My DH and DS on the other hand thought Parrot Cay was the best menu, go figure...

I did not care for the menu in Parrot Cay. Too weird for my tastes, we did end up ordering something that we like but in looking at the menu, nothing looked good at first. Animators was our absolute favorite, it was the only restaurant that more than one thing sounded good at. I would like to have a rotation that put me in animators more than anywhere else but from what I hear that is the "kiddie" rotation and mine will be 7 & 10 next time so we'll probably get stuck with Parrot Cay 3 times. Oh well.

Just to warn you, even if nothing sounds good or interesting, order something anyway and you may be pleasantly surprised. If worst comes to worst, order a grilled chicken or a steak on any night in any restaurant.

Besides the steak and chicken you can get that are not on the menu on regular rotation nights our servers would bring things from the other restraunts menu. My daughter loves cream brulee so every regular rotation night she had it for dessert.

We actually liked Parrot Cay a lot. Not as much as Triton's, but more than AP. I especially like the appetizers and desserts at Parrot Cay - their grilled pineapple with caramel sauce is DELICIOUS! And the grilled vegetable appetizer is among the best grilled vegetables i have had anywhere st Disney.

Of course, Palo's is still #1, though . . . .

We sailed on the Wonder in September and ate in all the dining rooms, including Palos and enjoyed each one on their own merits. We had no problem finding something on the menu which we liked, and even if you say like fish but don't like the cream sauce, just ask them to leave it off and they will gladly accomodate you.

Have fun and don't worry about the food. The servers will make your dining experience very pleasurable.
