Just wondering if there are limits to what you can choose on a menu when on the DDP. For example if say there is a lobster dish and it is $49.99 would it be included or is there a special menu for the DDP?
Here's a link to an old thread that was revived earlier this week. There is a list of exclusions in post #2 and and an update in post #7 from last Monday:
The only thing I can think to add is that Via Napoli is very strict in it's adherence to the rules of the dining plan (e.g. 2 people can't use just one credit to share food) and a few posters have said it is reluctant to modify toppings for pizzas and side dishes for the entrees.
As a side note, we've had the lobster at Narcoossee's on the dining plan. It was excellent.
If you're at a restaurant that accepts DDP, the vast majority of the time you can choose any item on the menu without exclusions.
The only restaurants with lobster entrees are Narcoosees and Fulton's. Both are 2 credit TS restaurants. So if you spend 2 credits, yes you can order the lobster.
Thany you. I thought so as we didn't have any problems last time but that was 5 years ago and it isn't unheard of for the rules to change. I'm glad it hasn't.
