Menu for CRT - dinner

I noticed that the allears menu for CRT is from August '04.

Does anyone have a more recent menu or is it pretty much the same?? I really want to eat in the castle but the menu doesn't thrill me. There are other places who's menus appeal to me more.

We were there last week. The menu is the same, not great IMO. I just posted a review

We were there in Oct, and the kids wanted to eat in the castle (a first). I wasnt thrilled with the menu either, so I ordered chicken strips, mashed potatoes, corn off the kids menu. There was no problem in doing this and was more than enough for me.

I had dinner there on Mother's Day, pretty much the same. The beef filet was awesome. The menu is small. They have it on a board rather than opening up. I noticed most people's reaction was to turn it over to see more, but there wasn't.

CRT has always had a limited menu--just posted a review -- the prime rib was excellent and had great desserts.

I definitly recommend the prime rib. My DH and dad love their prime rib which is saying a lot b/c they both eat out a lot at nice places. We love eating here and go every trip. I usually get the chef's special which is usually seafood. We've never had bad food or service.

And they have a beautiful new dessert for the 50th. Chocolate slipper with chocolate mousse served on angel food cake. Haven't had it....just seen a picture of it! That itself is a reason to go!

Dh, DD4 and I all had the prime rib, it was delicious. They are right about the slipper it is a must have, very yummy and cute! Dh loved the crispy spring roll appetizers also.
