DLM - Evan's hair doesn't look anywhere near as bad as I was picturing - in fact, it's downright cute! AND, it makes him look older... which just may sway a CM who would otherwise think about measuring him for oh, say, BTMRR. Just sayin.

Ok, so you all know I threw the whole "I'm not posting until I get back" towel out the window, right? Well, I did.

So on Monday I emailed the limo company just to confirm our ressie and make sure everything was kosher. Yesterday was what.... Wednesday and I still hadn't gotten a response, so I called them. Well, it's a good thing I did. They had us down for an 8am pick up! Our flight leaves at 8:05 am! And they didn't have our airport pick-up for the 30th. AND the girl who I originally booked with no longer works there. The new girl was completely unprofessional and pretty much useless. She didn't know how to check stuff and it was a nightmare. She said she would call me back as soon as she rebooked our info. Well, a day later and no phone call. I called this morning to cancel and was told to please call back after 11:30am. WTH?
No longer feeling comfortable with this company, I immediately made a ressie for a Park and Fly service. Looks like we're driving. But at least I'm saving over $150! Because I'm going to need it.......

This morning I was going over the bills and was getting everything set up for automatic payments whilst we're gone. Car payment, cell phones, etc. I just remember I had to pay my car registration this month. So I go online with the DMV to pay the $184. As I'm completing the transaction, I notice $103 late fee. WTH??? OMG! I just realized that they were due on JULY 16th, not AUGUST 16th! I am so mad at myself for forgetting about that! It's so not like me to do something like this. Well, there went my savings from the limo!

I still haven't heard from Maddie's school about her permit transfer approval. Now I have to trip it up to the District office and start rufflin' some feathers! Oh bother! 5 more days baybees!!! I'm seriously needin' a Lapu right about now!

Thanks for the reminder to check on the limo service, as I don't want to wake up a week from today and not find a car waiting to take us to the airport, I'm calling just as soon as I'm done here.

Too bad on the late fees, could have used that money on Lapus.

I still hope to meet up with everyone, 'randomly' as our plans have us busy when you all are meeting. I'll be putting some decorations in our windows at SSR and have some LG accesories that will hopefully capture some DISer's eye.

Well I still need to pack, though that probably won't happen until Wednesday, darn work gets in the way of everything.

Oh, NOOO!!!! about the limo. And, "Oh, drats!!!!!!!" about the car registration. Here in NH they have you do it in your birth month. And, it's way more expensive to register here than anywhere else I've ever lived. So, yeah, Happy Birthday... But, it's hard to forget that way...

That really does suck about the limo! And the DMV late fee. It's too bad it's the DMV as they are not willing to wave any late fees. I had to ask Chrysler Financial for a late fee waive as when I was paying my bills on line, I accidentally paid the car payment to the credit card that was listed right below it. I was totally ticked. Chrysler was more than happy to reverse the late fee as we are in perfect credit standing. But boy that really sucked.

What's the deal with the limo companies out here? I was looking for a good one and just wasn't feelin' it so that's why I ended up with Prime Time. Not only that, last trip I had arranged for a limo but when I called to confirm they couldn't find my reservation, the people were rude it was a mess. I'm sorry to hear it didn't work out for you but look at it this way, at least it's not the 21st on you're not standing there at 6:30 a.m. wondering where your transportation is.

OMG, I did the same thing! Mine was due 7/15 too but $103 late fee? That's seems awfully high. But then again maybe they base it on a percentage of the original fee cuz mine is $45 and now I have to pay like 70 something.

$103! The total came to $287. Andy wasn't feelin' it though. He gave me the stink eye when I told him what I did.
