Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

Tracy, Tracy you got a new tag  and your top ones moving  How'd you get it? You must have been really nice to the TF :thumbsup2 Hurry up and wake up, sheeez it's 2am already you don't need anymore sleep :rotfl2:

I was feeling my latin roots come out on this Cinco de Mayo day so I made a few trays of Green Enchildas, fideo, beans, and a lovely salad.

Oh my! That sounds totally yum!!

First, someone who will remain nameless...**coughTheEnablercough**

:lmao:

Donald girlie feelings are all hurt. Suck it up, whiner! :lmao:

:lmao:

Waldo stares at me like I have 3 heads whilst I explain everything to him. He's been to WDW before, and we used the DDP before, nothings changed, and he still doesn't get it. :confused3

OMG! You have so much patience. I feel for you. Somehow I can totally relate to that kinda frustration. :badpc:

For some reason or another, I bring up DVC. Why? I don't know. I try to squeeze DVC into any and every conversation hoping to plant a seed somewhere.

::yes:: Excellent work comrade.

Well, try explaining DVC to Waldo.... now that, my friends is a completely impossible task! I literally tried to shank myself in the neck with his favorite pen

:rotfl2: OMG! You are so funny!! :lmao:

he happens to misplace all the time and blames everyone for trying to "lift it". Waldo misplaces everything. His glasses, his keys, his hearing aid, his wallet, his flipping pen.... you name it, he can't find it. And the topper is he blames everyone else. Like it's a conspiracy against him.

 I feel like I know Waldo. You paint such a vivid picture of him. As my mother would say "offer it up darling", "offer it up for a good cause" :lmao:

Patience is trying to explain a TracPhone to your 76 yo mom and 75 yo dad.

Ok missy where'd you get the idea that I'm skinny? Far from it, I'm about a US size 10  I pictured all of you, from the photos I've seen, as smaller than me :confused3 So it's me that should be getting my bum in gear and doing some exercise, also I'll have eaten so much free food I bet I'll sink instead of swim anyway :lmao:

You have seen me hiding behind a giant ape and a 7' Goofy. Size 10 you say? I'd better get to exercising.

Don't be daft, we also need to see a proper photo of you before August so we can all stalk you too :rotfl2:

Thanks TE! You're the best!!

Alright DIS friends. I seriously have to go to the grocery store as I cooked my last bag of microwave veggies last night and I need some ground beef for my Hamburger Helper. Watch out everyone; I don't want to run over with my buggy! :rotfl2:

Hi Tracy,
Im back and all caught up here. I cant possibly reply to all the chaos in your TR with changes and such. And oh cant forget the family drama. All I can say is have a big tall mint mojito(sp?) yum yum, and all will be ok!!
Oh and one thing, you look great in your pics, I dont think you need to worry too much about the pool thing.:goodvibes

Oh and another thing---
I MET PRINCESS V AND PUGGYMOM!!!!!I dont want to say to much as I am hoping they will discuss our short meeting on their tr's, but they are great!! It was so good to meet them. My DH even said that he thought they were normal.
I am sad we will be there in Oct and not Aug for your meeting.

No way! Tell him you can't golf and dive in the same day...or was that dive and fly?:confused3 Well if he wants to play, he should play...they could find other people to match up with him I'm sure...the Master Starter guy or somebody does that...
Nope, uh-uh... ain't happening. Let me tell you why.... if he golfs, then that means Daisy will want to hang with me. Well, I'm hanging with youse guys, KWIM? Not that I'm trying to be mean, but c'mon, I see Daisy all the time. I don't want to share my time with her on that day. That day is for my invisible, stalking, axe murderer gal pals and their kidlets. There, I said it. Whew... I feel better. :teeth:

So what are the 9??? :confused3 You just gonna leave us hangin' like that???
All in good time, LL, all in good time. I took that line from the Exorcist. I love that movie!! I do have to watch it with only one eye open, though!:scared:

 I feel like I know Waldo. You paint such a vivid picture of him. As my mother would say "offer it up darling", "offer it up for a good cause" :lmao:
I actually have a heart warming story to tell about Waldo in my next installment, stay tuned.......

Hi T!!! Miss ya!! I can't wait to hear all about your meet! So, when are you going to start your trip report???:rolleyes1 popcorn::
Awesome new tag! I like the movey ones! :thumbsup2

Thanks Daisy! I was lucky enough to be around the Tag Fairy last night! :woohoo:

Ok, so where was I...... ah, yes....our 9ish finalists (for now ;) ) are.....

Boatwrights, Crystal Palace, Rose & Crown, Garden Grill, Kona Cafe (girls night out), LeCellier, CRT, Mama Melrose, Boma, Coral Reef, Teppanyaki, & Spoodles.

I know what your thinking..... uh, Tracy, that's not 9, that's 12. Let me 'splain a bit. Garden Grill is for "them", whilst I eat at Kona with my gal pals, "they" will be dining at Garden Grill. CRT is OOP, so it doesn't count toward my DDP credits. So, that brings us to 10. Spoodles is a back up for Teppanyaki. I know Jo is eating there on the 26th, so I'm going to call her at her resort the next morning before she leaves and ask her all about it. :thumbsup2 Jo doesn't know that I am using her as my Teppanyaki guinea pig. Which by the way, is neither pork, nor Italian, but according to the good people of Ecuador, is BBQ. :lmao: Buh dump dum! So if Jo give it a :thumbsup2, then Teppanyaki it is. If she gives it a :scared: then we're going to Spoodles. So, here's what superfluous ADR's I have and will lottery them out when the time comes.....
Le Chefs lunch ADR
H&V breakfast ADR
Mama Melrose lunch ADR
Crystal Palace breakfast ADR
Boatwrights breakfast ADR
I'll give my PTR reader first dips before I release them into the wild. I feel like I'm pimpin' ADR's!!! :lmao:

So, I start talking to Daisy about clothes and suck. I ask her what she's bought so far. Nothing she says. Are you kidding me??? I've got 3 suitcases full of clothes, my spreadsheets are coming along just fine, I've got CROCitis, and my bathing suit torture is over. :sad2: She's got nothing. I ask, well aren't you gonna buy a new swim suit? :confused3 You know, you really have to go now....yada yada yada... She tells me she's got 4 left over from our Hawaii vacation.... 5 YEARS AGO!!! I tell her, uhhhh, sweetie, no ones wears ribbed one pieces anymore or colorful rose patterned puffy topped one pieces. Oy, vay! ;)

So the Ducks leave, not one iota WDW wiser, but what's a girl to do? I think they are really towards me to guide them like a herd of buffalo through the pearly gates of WDW and show them were the greenest pastures are. The pressure is on!! :coffee:

I think I already mentioned talking to Waldo about DVC... but I didn't mention this part. So, I admit in total secrecy that I don't think DVC is for us. Only because the cost of airfare is ridiculous from LAX to MCO. Yearly WDW vacations may or may not be in the cards for us, so I silently put my DVC wishes on the back burner for now. Now, Waldo doesn't know about my super sleuth trip with The Enabler next May. So we're having a conversation about how we've spent enough money from last years trip and this year trip, that we could be proud owners of at least 150 DVC points. :sad2: I tell Waldo about our Super 40th Birthday Cruise/10 day WDW vacation planned for Aug/Sept. 2009. And he says something that actually made me sad and made me really think.... He said he hopes that he's around to go with us. Now that sentence really hit my heart hard. I got a big lump in my throat and my eyes welled up. I never, ever think about the day that my parents are no longer with me. I'm always making plans for the future, vacation plans, that is. I've got a European vacation (DLRP included, of course)planned with my parents for my 40th, which is thankfully not for 5 more years. What I didn't realise, is that in 5 years, my parents will be 77 and 78 years old. Alot can happen in those 5 years, as my parents age. It made me sad to think that, yes someday, we will go to WDW and Waldo won't be there. Who will we go in search of? Who will throw us off schedule and wreck havoc on the poor WDW CM's who don't realise they must speak in a louder tone so Waldo can hear them? :sad1: And so, I am happy that Waldo is going with us to WDW. I am happy that my children can sit on his lap and enjoy the sights and sounds of IASW. I am happy that we will be able to get frustrated when we lose Waldo and laugh when we find him. Truth be told. I am happy that we are going to experience these 10 days of magic together, as a family, even if it kills us and causes us to not speak to one another for 6 months after we return. Because, who knows when it will ever happen again?

Spoodles is a back up for Teppanyaki. If you need a Guinea pig for Teppanyucki than I say DON"T GO, fo-sho.:scared:

:scared1: a ribbed one piece:rotfl2: ...sounds interesting
She sounds like she needs a trip to the mall! Or at least Target.

This made me tear up:sad1:
It really is hard seeing our parents get older. I am glad that you get to experience vacations with him and your children. Those are really priceless memories.
I appreciate you writing TR's so we can all experience vacationing with your family.

Was there a sale at Food Lion? I gotta run get some tomorrow.:thumbsup2

Ground beef wasn't on sale, but chickens are. I think the whole chickens were 79 cents a pound. Not a great price, but if you're needin to make beer in the butt chicken, you'll just have to pay that extry buck or two.

Well I do now :rotfl2: we're actually going to both so I can tell you my vote, S'Late is also going to Tep the same day as me, we're trying to get a big table for all of us :thumbsup2

I tell her, uhhhh, sweetie, no ones wears ribbed one pieces anymore or colorful rose patterned puffy topped one pieces. Oy, vay! ;)
Do they not? I'd better go shopping then  :rotfl2:

Same here but I like the way you ended for now :rotfl2:
