Memory Maker?

Does anyone know if the Memory Maker comes with the option of the magic shots? My daughter really, really, really wants that picture of herself holding Tink. Thanks. :)

Yes, it looks like they both do

I purchased PP+ for our trip for next June. I would like to have MM+ so I emailed Photopass Help Center to ask what I need to do to 'switch' it

I was told I had to send my Gallery CD and voucher back to them and give them two weeks to process a refund and I could purchase MM+ separately if I wish to do so. There seems no way to just switch it over like there was when they brought out PP+ (they let me switch my credit from the regular CD and pay the difference into my account).

MDE is telling me I need to link MM - so seeing how I want to keep PhotoPass Plus, I feel should not do that as I am afraid it will think I want MM. I think I will just wait until I get there and exchange my voucher and see about linking - what are others thoughts on this?

This is correct! I just called I'm so upset! Same prices but no stock photos or printed dining photos!! Can't believe they would take this away!! They print them and will now throw them away!!

I would guess the printed pictures will go away eventually too, why print them when you can just have them auto-uploaded to an iPad and then if the guest wants to purchase one you can just have it print on demand. Just a guess, but I'm guessing this will be the future, which I'm more than fine with.

I purchased PP+ for my upcoming trip and recently noticed the option to link MM in MDE. I spoke with a CM about the differences between the two and he recommended that I keep PP+. This particular CM stated he preferred PP+ and that MM had no added benefits. Hopefully he was correct.

I'm trying to decide between the new MM or the PP+ archive disk option that's still available for $119.

The list of rides included in the MM isn't all that great for me. But I do like the fast downloads instead of waiting for a disk to arrive. Remember, the 45 days start the moment you start viewing pictures on MM.

This is the list as posted on their Facebook page.

Attractions
Space Mountain attraction
Slash Mountain attraction
Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin + attraction
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror"++
Rock n Roller Coaster attraction
Expedition Everest attraction
Dinosaur
Test Track attraction

Dining Locations
1900 Park Fare

Decisions, decisions.....

Why get printed pictures. a disc, or stock photos on a disc from Disney by mail?

You can put the pictures wherever you want when you download them: Flashdrive, CD, DVD, computer, phone, etc. And you can go online or to a store and have Walmart or other stores print them for you to be mailed or picked up. And stock photos are available online.

These are far more efficient and less expensive ways for everyone then Disney having to mail physical discs to everyone.

I complained to Disney because I thought their system was outdated.

Now you can still do everything but you can do it online, do it yourself, and do it through a retailer of your choice - saving you money and time. We use Wal-Mart's online photo service and then go pick up the prints at the store. Works great and is reasonably priced.

I've read in different places on the internet about problems with the MM and photos not being there. One person stated that they had NONE of their photos! Hope they get the kinks worked out by July 1. I've purchased the PhotoPass+ in the past and loved it and planned to purchase it for this trip. But it sounds like I'll be forced to purchase the MM this time. :confused3

I added the Memory Maker to my reservation. The CM on the phone said its great, but why would she say otherwise? Haha

I would go online and view the photos each day at the end of the day during my trip, just to make sure they are showing up. I wouldnt wait until getting home and risk being disappointed!

I know this is an old thread, but we have used it and loved it. Love the videos they are including for some of the rides as well (SDMT and ToT)! The kids thought they were fantastic and watched them over and over again since we got back.

It pretty much includes everything that can be taken at Disney. Every picture was there within 24 hours of them being taken, and usually faster than that.
