Memory maker use for party

We've got a memory maker, but a party of 8 on a single reservation. Is it possible that multiple people can use their magic bands to take pictures and share them, but then the single account which has the memory maker is able to download across all of them, or will only the account which has the memory maker linked be the pictures that are able to be downloaded?

I am not certain that I understand the question 100%, however, I think I have a similar experience that can help. Last year, we traveled (Party of 6) with a friend (family of 4). We had separate reservations but setup the memory maker so that we could download each others pictures. When we viewed our pictures, the other parties were mixed in, and vice versa.
Our party of 6 split up and the older kids (19-17) went and did their own thing a few times. When the separate groups were on rides or stopped for photos, they showed up in our Memory Maker.

It was very seamless and in my opinion was well worth the cost.

The way it should work is anyone who has their own MDE needs to give permission to everyone else with their own MDE to view/purchase photos. Then the person with the MM attached to their account should be able to view, edit, and download any of those photos. Any other member of the party should be able to view the photos from their account too, but should be unable to edit them or download them from their account.

Well, that's why you were able to do it. If you had had only one MM for both parties, then only one person would have been able to download the pictures.

The MDE account with the Memory maker on it will be the only account which can be used to download pictures. Everyone who is friends and family (with permission to view and purchase photos) with the person who is assigned to be the one in charge of the MM will have their pictures show up in MM on this MDE account. Everyone who has the login and password for the MDE account with the MM will be able to download pictures.

So you can have your own MDE, be linked as friends and family, and still be able to download pictures as long as you have the login and password for the MDE account that has the MM linked to it.
