Memory Maker - traveling with another family

I know you can if you're reservations etc. are under the same MDE (email address) account. -We do this frequently with extended family. If you guys are using separate MDE (email addresses for you reservations) then I'm not sure. I think there might be a way to add each other as friends and then maybe it would work, but not sure. Hopefully someone will chime in soon with that scenario. Basically the magic band that you scan or that you're wearing when you ride has to be connected to the memory maker (generally this is done by linking the memory maker to the MDE account (email address) that your reservations are under.

Yes. Only one MDE account has to buy the Memory Maker. Then just make sure every member of the other family is linked as friends and that they are given permission to share photos. Done this many times. One caveat, I have run into an issue once when the photo on my DD's magic band didn't show up in the main MDE account. Since then, I just take the extra precaution of only using adult bands for photos.
