Memory Maker Question

Apologies if I missed the answer to this one in the master thread....I did try there first!

We are headed back to Disney in March. We are thinking of sharing Memory Maker with family who will be there around the same time as us. If my sister in law is the one who purchases Memory Maker and is the “owner” of it, does she have to use it first (ie get pics made) to “activate it” or since we will be linked as F&F on her MDE will it automatically add our photos to her account if we use it before she does? I hope that makes sense! We’ll be in the parks a day before her family, so I want to make certain any pictures we take before she begins using it will still add to her MM for us to view. If not, I’ll be the one to purchase MM and add them on. Thanks for the advice!

Your photos, as long as you have Selected ‘share photos’ when you linked MDX accounts, will be part of the Memory Maker stash.

When your sister begins downloading photos, everything that’s there is available to her to download.

Memory Maker Specifics​

There are some things to keep in mind with Memory Maker. You will be able to download all pictures taken of anyone that you have linked through Friends and Family, as long as you have enabled “My Disney PhotoPass Photos.” If you aren’t sure, go to your friends and family list, and click on “Update” next to their name. Make certain there is a green box by the “My Disney PhotoPass Photos” option, and you’re set.
