So the only pictures included in MM are the ones that are taken before the meal, like Ohana? Character meals are not included? Still can't decide...

I am not aware of any character meals where there are Photopass photographers within the restaurant so you wouldn't have the opportunity to get those anyway. You need to work out if it's best for your family depending on what you do. Normal meet and greets mostly have photographers there so you get 2 to 3 shots from each of those meeting spots. I take it your children are young and not into the thrill rides?
