Memory Maker - Am I reading this correctly?

I just read somewhere that when you need to purchase a table side photo in order to have the digital copy included on your Memory Maker account. Is this true? If so, is this a change from the old PP+? We bought PP+ last year and received the digital copies of our character breakfast photos, as well as our ride photos, for with out having to purchase the hard copy.

Would someone be able to fill me in on the Memory Maker option as it pertains to the parks (rides, dining, locations, etc.)?

We ate at 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickeys. I think those are the only we ate at that had photos. We did not need to purchase them to get them added to our account. Just scanned our bands when we took the pictures. Same goes for the rides, no additional purchase required.

I never used Photopass+, but from what I've read the only real difference in what you get is MM doesn't include the CD or stock photos.

With Photopass+ you received the actual photo package from the participating restaurants. As long as you gave them your PP+ card when they took the picture, the PP person who came to your table would just give you the package. If I've read everything correctly, you don't get the actual printed photos at the meals with MM. Was that what you experienced?

Yup that's correct, no printed photos just a digital copy.

If you have Photopass you'd have to buy them. If you have Memory Maker they're included without additional purchase.
