Thanks for letting me live the magic through your posts! We are going on our second DCL cruise in September and four seems to be an eternity right now! Here's for hoping your throat feels better. My husband is often victim of ulcers in the very back of his mouth/top of his throat area. They are PAINFUL (and make you feel like you have a soar throat, ear ache, tooth ache and mouth ache all at once). He is impressed that you are eating at all if you have something similar **even the ice cream**. Take care of yourself and ENJOY the MAGIC!!

ANYONE BUT ANDY (don't want to bug him with silly "Can I do this questions" while he is on the Magic )...can anyone just drop off a pillow case or a shirt to be signed by the characters? I would love to do that for my boys as as surprise to give them as we drive home (it's always a bummer for all of us to leave anything Disney).

Keep the reports coming, love em! The pirate costumes are super cool, we're still trying to find some for our cruise but if not I think we'll be making some t-shirts for pirate night and wearing those new ears they are selling at WOD at DTD. I would suggest if you want to drop off pillowcases or t-shirts off at Guest Services to be signed by the characters, do it very early in the cruise. We dropped off 4 pillowcases (for another DIS'er) to be signed on Sunday morning and were told they will be ready by Friday evening. I know quite a few DIS'ers from our group were dropping things off to be signed during this cruise.

You can tell your DH that even the ice cream "burns" going down, but it is starting to feel a bit better. I was able to eat more at dinner last night, then I have eaten since we boarded, so there is still hope yet, LOL!!! Tonight is lobster tail night!!!


I haven't written anything in my journal from yesterday as of yet. Hazel and I were out later than usual last evening, and I usually did my journal writing before retiring for the night. By the time we got back to our room last night, I went staright to bed. I still have to go through my pics from yesterday and see what I want to add in today's entry as well. I hope to be able to post something soon.

We have a sea day today, and are heading to Castaway Cay. It's amazing how fast this week passes by.

Glad to read you are feeling a bit better Andy. I also agree that the week goes fast - we wait and wait and wait and wait and then it is over all to quickly. Enjoy your day at sea and have a blast at Castaway tomorrow!

Glad you are feeling better. Thank you so much for relaying the message to my parents, that means a lot. Try not to get too much sun at Castaway Cay, it seems everytime I go there I get burned no matter how hard I try not to. I'm wishing I was there.

We were originally going on your cruise, we had booked a year in advance. In August this past year our 2nd story AC unit decided to go completely out, so we had to make a choice go on cruise or get a new AC unit. So, of course since we live here in FL we had to get the new AC unit.

Maybe sometime soon we will be able to go again.

Glad you're feeling better. And can I just say "mmmmmmm" about that lemon and lime chicken - that's what I had, too - and it was so good! Tomorrow is Castaway Cay, huh?

Hazel and I went to Topsiders for breakfast this morning. I am happy to report that I was able to eat "everything" on my plate for the first time this week. I had cream of wheat, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, watermelon, cantalope and even a Krispy Kreme donut, boy this meal hit the spot and tasted so very good. Now I'm ready to cruise, maybe I should stay on for another week, LOL!!!

Hazel, Angelina and I are heading off to the Buena Vista Theatre shortly to see Herbie Fully Loaded.

Funny story about the cream of wheat -- our first morning having breakfast at Topsiders, I was excited because they had grits on the line, but when I went to spoon it up, I saw they were really really runny - and that's when it dawned on me, that wasn't grits, it was cream of wheat. I like cream of wheat ok, but I like grits better. Oh well. I'm a southern girl at heart

I absolutely loved having such tasty fresh fruit available all day!

I was able to catch up with Pikey before he left with the group and gave him a big "HELLO" from the DIS'ers. I mentioned Lampy and his Turkey Day cruisers, and Pikey said, "You mean Tink?" Then Pikey started laughing.

Yep, at the hot legs contest I was dubbed "tink" and EVERYWHERE Pikey yelled "Hey Tink!"

If you get to talk to him find out if he is staying on the Magic....he told us at CC that he may be going to the Wonder....we are book for the 06 10 night christmas sailing but are probably switching to the Eastern after Thanksgiving.....Thanks Andy!!

Be sure and secure your glasses on your head before you disembark at Castaway Cay - you don't want a repeat performance at the airport on theway home - lol

DH has a bit of advice for you...LOTS of creamy frozen blends from the lounge/bar before dinner(little does he think about the tab that would run you by the end of your trip) but seriously, he swears that either the cold will numb you or the alcohol will numb you and either way...the food will go down much much smoother! Glad to hear you are still making the most of your time!!

ENJOY your time with the captain!! What a special fun thing! Make sure you let us all know how it went *remember the hoards of us living via your trip is growing every day!!*

I wanted to let you know that your mom left a note at our stateroom today. She wanted to let you know that she and your dad received your message, she sends her love in return, and she wanted to let you know that they are both having a great time!!!

I was in the Cove Cafe yesterday but I didn't see anyone smoking inside, of course there were only about 5 people in there at the time.
