Memories and you projection show

I don't know the answer to your question, but wanted to thank you for sharing the video link.

Since it's based on the current marketing LET THE MEMORIES BEGIN which is supposed to run throughout 2011, my guess is that it will be shown nightly throughout the year. It's currently playing at WDW on the castle, and at DL on the facade of IASW.

Has anybody seen this show live? It sounds so hokey to me. I just can't imagine a crowd of people enjoying seeing other people's kids on the castle. I would think it would work better at DL at IASW.

We saw this show twice in the past week. It is VERY impressive. It's a cutting edge light projection show. Pictures of people in the parks are incorporated (tastefully) into the show, but the show was entertaining enough that it could have stood alone even without the snapshots (although they fit into the show very well). We were amazed at how well it was put together (which I why we went to see it a second time). Many people standing near us were commenting on how amazing it was, so I know we weren't alone in our opinion.

As Jimminy Cricket says in Wishes, "What they can't do these days!"

I should have known Disney really knows how to put on a show. Thanks for the feed back.

We missed it last week. I didn't know it was part of a show. I thought they projected the pictures all night long. We arrived after dinner at Epcot and found out we had just missed it.

I went into it last Saturday night thinking it would be hokey... but let me just say I was impressed. It was a little longer than I felt it should be (10 mins vs. say 7), but it was very good. The photos inserted actually were a lot less of the show than the technology on display. From what I've read on other sites, they used 16 projectors instead of the required 12 to make it extra impressive, and it shows. It is sandwiched in between the end of the parade and the start of Wishes - so there's already a built up crowd to watch it. Just about everyone was oohing and ahhing throughout. On the night I saw it, it was about 10 minutes after the parade ended, and about 10 minutes before Wishes began, so at least there was something "to do" between the parade and the fireworks, and the standing around didn't seem so void.

I am wondering how close do you have to be to see the pictures. I thinking you will have to be pretty close to see everything which makes it very packed up front.
Looking forward to seeing it soon.

We were at last Mondays show and I think it's even better than wishes. :thumbsup2

We were on the Castle side of "Partners" so we had a great view. We even saw pictures of ourselves up there on one of the towers.

The part that made me say, "wow" out load was when it looked like the Castle was on fire. :woohoo:

Go and enjoy it. popcorn::

The show is absolutely amazing - just makes you realize how hard disney works at putting on a great show! We saw it Thursday night and my hubby is still talking about how amazed he was by it!!!

Is there any way to know when and if your family's pic will be shown or is it just random? I was considering submitting some pics and was curious.
