We're thinking about making a quick trip to US/IoA over memorail day weekend. We would be arriving on the Friday May 22nd, and leaving on Wednesday the 27th.

Based on the DIS podcast I listened to the other day, I wasn't expecting to come on here and find that the crowd levels were so high this week.

Do you US/IoA veterans (I've only been once in October back in 2002) expect the crowds to be back over Memorial Day, or was this past week an aberration?

Thanks in advance...

We, too, will be there at Memorial Day.

We are planning to wait and visit the parks on Tues-Wed-Thurs after Memorial Day.

I am hoping that, while Memorial Weekend may be completely packed, that most of the crowds are heading back to work and school by Tuesday.

I hope we get some good replies from the resident Universal specialist on here!!!!

Like any holiday weekend, the parks will be busy...not as bad as Spring Break but sizeable crowds at each park. These past two weeks have hopefully been a freak occurance with Easter and Spring Break crowds coming together...it's not usually this bad!

yeah we will also be at US/IOA during memorial day wknd.

regardless of the crowds we are renting a hotel for the 23-25th of may.

if the lines are too long we will either go in super early , or super late so we don't have to wait too long for the rides...

We'll be there from the 23rd to 31st. I'm hoping the weekdays after Memorial Day will be lighter. You would think so??
We're staying at a timeshare (Marriott's Harbour Lake, just 3 miles from the parks) for a week, then the last weekend there, at the RPR. I have to experience some FOTL on every trip :thumbsup2
