Memorial Day crowds?

We're considering a trip to US and WDW next summer. We could cut the number of vacation days that DH has to use for this trip if we went to Universal on Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend. Will it be crazy crowded those days? We plan to stay onsite so we'll be able to use the express lines and we really want to see Harry Potter.

But, if the crowds are likely to be horrific, we could stretch the vacation out and go the following Monday/Tuesday (June 4/5 I think). But that means my DH likely uses several extra days of vacation time.

Are the crowds going to be bad enough over memorial day to make burning the extra vacation time a good idea?

The crowds will be quite large that weekend but if you're staying onsite, don't worry about the crowds. You will have unlimited Express and early access into WWoHP.

We were there this past Memorial Day and I did not even notice that the crowds got heavy until right before we left on 6/3. We did stay on site and had front of the line passes and that makes things alot easier.
