Memorial day--busy DVC?

We currently have ressies for the kids spring break (2nd week of April) but now I'm wondering if we should be thinking Memorial Day weekend instead...It appears flight prices for a Friday-Monday flight that weekend are much more manageable, and then my oldest can also join us (which is no biggie if he misses this trip, really, when we're going again next summer, too). It would also free up vacation days for DH

But how is DVC that time? Busy? Would I need to make the switch now? We'd want a studio at OKW.

Any other input that would help me make up my mind? Is it crowded in the parks Memorial Day weekend? Getting pretty hot by then?

Before DVC, we have gone Memorial weekend, and it was very hot that year, and yes, the crowds were bad too. Epcot's F&G show is going on then, and that was the draw that year and like you mentioned we were using DH's holiday time, not vacation time. However, since we bought DVC, we do not go to WDW Memorial weekend any more, we like the beginning of May better.
We have gone to VB for Memorial weekend and that was wonderful. Resort was full, but never felt too crowded.
