My DH of 48 years has recently passed away. We stayed at Disney World at least 50 times before his health made him homebound 5 years ago. While caring for him I have totally lost track of everything going on at WDW. He loved WDW so much and I would like to have some trace of that love in place there. If I remember correctly, the bricks at MK and the engravings for the monoliths at Epcot are not options. Is there anything else? It would mean so much to me to find something. TIA

I don’t know the answer, but I just wanted to say I’m sorry for your loss. I hope you’re able to find something special to memorialize your good memories there ❤️

In 2019, Magic Kingdom sold these commemorative legacy pavers prior to removing the original bricks lining the MK/TTC walkways. We purchased ours at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co, and they were only supposed to be available for a limited time.

However, you can now purchase them on shopDisney

The personalized pavers sold on shop Disney are sent to the customer, they are not installed anywhere on Disney property. Unfortunately no memorialization products to be installed on Disney property are currently being sold.

I do not have the answer but I am so sorry for your loss

There is a shop at Disney Springs that sells the pavers (I forget the shop name, but it's where they also do custom phone cases). As previously mentioned, they are not installed anywhere at the parks.

So sorry for your loss.

I was going to share the same shop Disney link. But I wanted to thank you for all you did to care for your DH. Caregivers are heroes. My heart hurts for your loss, but I want to applaud you for all you did for your DH.

OP, correct, the pavers are commemorative, inspired, replica. Felt pad on ridged underside. Recommended for indoor use only. They ship directly to your home, even when purchased in-park.

Disney stopped selling the installed bricks in 2007 and removed them beginning in 2019 (thus the reason for selling the commemorative pavers).

How about an ornament tree/wreath of his favorite rides/shows? For my mother, we did some funny ones (Disney trash can, inside joke) and Osborne Lights. She also loved tropical flowers, so we purchased Plumeria at the F&G Fest to plant.

I am very sorry for your loss and hope you find that special piece to honor your dear husband.

What a kind thing to post! I need to find a new purpose in life now because the last 10 years have been caregiving. I miss DH and I miss taking care of him. I know I will find my way but for now I feel really lost. I think I will never see someone pushing a wheelchair or waiting in a handicap line at WDW that my heart won't turn over. Thank you for caring.

All good thoughts. Our Christmas tree is filled with Disney ornaments--and yes, we have one of the trashcan ornaments! I will have to think about which would be a good addition. Thank you for your post!
