Membership Card Q? - 2 UY

Hoping I can get a quick answer before having to call MS. A few weeks ago we closed on our second resale contract. We chose a new UY to better accommodate our vacation habits. A few days ago we received a package with membership cards - with our 1st member # and UY. Was this a mistake? Do they typically send new membership cards each year for everyone and we should just keep waiting for our 2nd contract's cards?
I'm guessing this was a mistake...
 
Disney has been sending out new cards with a updated "member since" date, or there could be a error. I suggest that you call MS to find out.

You should have a separate membership card with the new uy. Only if the uy is the same should it be on one membership card. Unless this is something new.
 
I've owned two different UYs for at least ten years. We bought the second one as a resale and it didn't match our first contract. As many times as we have asked, we have never gotten a member card with the second contract number on it. So when I call to make a reservation, I have my two contracts on paper and confirm that they used X points or Y points.

When you log into your member account, you should have both your contracts listed there.

Stop by the sales office at SSR and they'll generate one for you on the spot. It only takes a few minutes once they verify your identity and membership.
 
Thanks for the advice, all! I must have missed the fact that they were sending out new cards to everyone. Interesting that we don't need two cards. I think I'll just stick with one for now, then, and ask for a 2nd set if we want/need.
 
Just a quick question about membership cards ? We have cards that were issued in 93 and most of the info is worn off, so we can stop by at SS office and just get new cards made up ? That would be great and then we can get some ice cream. Home in 4 weeks.:cool1::lovestruc:yay:
 
We have two contracts (one at OKW and one at SSR) and we have always had two sets of cards. I don't know if it is different if you have 2 contracts (different UYs) at the same resort.
 
I just had the same thing happen to me. 2 different properties and UYs but they sent the membership card for the first set of points, again. I guess a call to MS is in order. :confused3
