Members Cruise - anyone?

Is there a thread from the current Members Cruise? I'd love to be reading about it, since I couldn't be there?

I've checked the Cruise forum and there are no new postings since the one posted the day the Wonder went out to sea - I was hoping to read what was happening but maybe they're all having such a good time that there's no time for postings...... yet.

I just received information about the 2011 Member Cruise in our mail today. Very interested, that's if I can talk my DH into it.

BTW, Who's planning on going on the 2011 Member Cruise?

DH and I would very much like to go on the one next year. I will have to miss my first day of school, but I can arrange for a sub. I think that since it's on the Dream, and the Dream has the new idea of a virtual porthole in the inside cabins it may be harder than it has been to get an inside cabin. I also would like to see the prices before I get any more excited about it, but I must say, I am pretty excited over the possibility of going on next year's!

We got the info. in the mail today too. I'm also very interested but would like to see some prices. I too would like to know from anyone that's done the member cruise before when we can get pricing info. I need that info before I call to book.

It's kind of odd, in the Member Cruise info they just sent out, they tell you to look at the reservation points chart, but of course, this cruise is not listed on the charts.... just seems odd to mention it in a flyer exclusively for the Member Cruise

Yes, we should know the cash prices and the point costs. They will be higher, and some will say "too much so." That's always the case here, so be prepared to read all sorts of things! The member cruises price has included tips in the past, but that alone doesn't cover the price differential, not by a long shot.

I'm willing to pay more, but like others here, there's a limit. I hope they come out with the information soon!

We will be going this year for our first Member Cruise.

We just went on our first DCL cruise over Labor Day Weekend and loved it!!

The cost is about 35%-45% more then a the cruise before and after the members cruise. But its a "private" cruise, not listed on the TA sites, and there are lots of pluses.

Maybe they were waiting to post the points/cost until they told the people on the present MC. The information is now on the member site, and I'm excited!

Wish we heard from someone on the cruise right now, about how things have been!!!!

Go to the News section. That's right on the home page, then it's the second topic in that section. There's a link there, and in that link, there's another link to the chart. The chart gives both cash and point costs!
