My husband walked out after 15 minutes after DeeVeeCee and the MC got going. He just couldn't take it any more. I thought I could make it to the end, but I couldn't do it either. I walked out after half an hour.
As I was headed back to the hotel, I passed a couple looking about as stunned as I felt, holding DVC hats. I asked them if they had also walked out - they had - and the word that all of us agreed described our feelings best was "insulting".
We thought we were going to get some concrete information and updates, adult to adults. Throw in Mickey Mouse roaming around dressed in Aulani gear? Would have been great.
DeeVeeCee screetching at us, expecting us to make mouse ears with our fists, feeding the group irrelevant trivia instead of DVC news, as if we were, at best, child-like, or at worst half-wits? Don't need to do that more than once. Sure made my husband and me think twice about how Disney perceives DVC members.
