MS will be closed and DVCMember will be down Wednesday, June 12th until 3pm. Anyone know what they're doing/changes that they are making?

They will add
  • "mixed reservation with confirmed and waitlisted dates together",
  • "online name change on reservation",
  • "room selection option such as BLT north side, with higher floor",
  • "backup cash reservation with point standby",
  • "availability summary listing all DVC resort vacancy on selected time period"
  • etc

Wait.... those are not their to-do list, they are my wish list. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

That wasn't nice. The one I kept from your list seems like it should be easiest to do and makes a crap ton of sense for the 7 month window. Would be nice just to input the dates and get a list of "Here's what's available at all the different places." Heck, even if you did it by Studio, 1BR, 2BR, GV.

It would even be helpful with the 11 month window when you're looking at 3 different views in many resorts.

It appears that all Disney World reservation systems are down. This includes Dining, DRC and DVC. This would most likely also affect reservations for tours, BBB, etc.

how I wish that was an option... let me see what is available Sept 1-7, I'd even be OK if we had to select villa size,, so let me see all resorts with a 1 br avail Sept 1-7... oh girl can dream.

Since it is all of Disney's reservations systems, it's likely nothing to do specifically with DVC. My bet is they are loading 2014 rates (non-DVC).

NOOOOOOO.....:badpc:

I need to change my reservation by one day and extend it out by 2 days on the other end and I cant get my plane tickets until I confirm with MS. :scared:

Of course, TODAY happens to be the day I am able to do all of that after planning to do this for weeks! :headache:

That would be so great, and you would think it would be fairly easy to do too.

Site is working again now except for reservation section

My DVC guide told me today that he wouldn't be able to book my studio at the Grand Floridian because of this. He said that they are entirely rebooting the system due to it being overwhelmed with VGF purchases.

Booking is available now - I just booked a reservation and entered a waitlist. No problem.

I called at around 4 and had no problems changing arrival date and extending our week out, but I wasn't booking VGF and it was an existing reservation.

Good salesman. Disney IT took the main system down for an upgrade so DVC had no choice but to go offline.
