We had to explain to Allen why we were taking photos of our drinks. He was shocked to hear that there was an entire group of people online who do Trip Reports and take photos of their food and drinks! I couldn’t believe no one else had ever mentioned this to Allen! I told him to look up the Disboards and search for his name or Bellevue Room. He’d be surprised!!

So he didn't suddenly think you were stark raving mad then

That is a ceramic poodle. It’s quite possibly the UGLIEST thing I’ve ever seen but here’s the funny part. Bob’s mom has one EXACTLY like it. NO kidding!! If I’m lying, I’m dying.

We tucked in and slept like babies. Well, babies who snore and get up to pee alot.

Still loving the trippy, Mel! Sorry Vero beach was such a bummer - I'm with you about sharks. I'm not so scared of em I won't swim in the ocean or anything, but I think if there is one evil looking animal in this world it is a shark. But your comment about not liking sharks because "I am tasty" had me laughing out loud.

And your date night sounds so cute!! Bob is a good guy. And glad to hear SD is feeling better - panic attacks are super scary!

Awesome update. You had me laughing out loud about the poodles! I can only imagine what the rest of her decor looks like! And we have learned to avoid parks that have EMH for the day as we've had the same experience more than once. It seems to work out well. Glad to hear that Bob is doing another update. I can't wait to hear about the Segway tour. It seems so cool!

I'm in!

Bob and I got gussied up and decided that our first stop would be the Bellevue room (which is a bar) located near the lobby.

One of my most favorite spots in all of The World!

I realize that people are here with their kids. I know, I know! But, that doesn’t mean that you have to bring them to the bar! But, sadly, people do.

Ummmm.... I have! Well, not up to the bar itself, but the lounge.

Wait, no, the bar, too. With LL. And Michael. But we were waiting for our table at Ohana, so that makes it better.

And a delicious 12 year Oban (Scotch) Whiskey.

I think this is what I had there in Dec. - de-licious!

On the way out of here we noticed this:

OMG, my great aunt had one of those, too!!!

The updates are SLOW around here, huh?

I like slow updates. I don't have as much dis-time as I would like.

This area, near Vero, was AWFUL. Frankly, I was completely disappointed. Vero was a virtual oasis of nice in a sea of BLECH.

I think I will just drive to Cocoa Beach or something and not be envious of the people at Vero.

When Bob returned with the drinks, there was something GLOWING on the cup! I didn’t know immediately what it was, but as he came closer I could see. That’s Tinkerbell!!!!! The ladies at the table next to us were so jealous! One girl said to her husband, “Why didn’t you BUY me ONE of those!?” Poor Guy! He didn’t know Bob!

What drink do you have to order. We are eating there next time anyway! That is so cute and Bob is so sweet.

Tomorrow Bob is taking SD to do the Segway tour at Epcot. And you guys are SO lucky because BOB is typing the update for that one, not me! So, you may have to be patient for a few days because Bob is very busy lately. He promises that you’ll have your update though.

Hooray! The segway tour! Did anyone watch Kathy Griffin riding segways on My Life on the D List last week? Make sure Bob has his own username for his update.

Oh all the lovely drinks!!!! So what does the strongbow cider taste like? I am excited to eat at R&C but need to find my drink there too. What a sweetie bob is!!! You 2 must be so adorable together...I guess I'll see in a few short weeks!!! Great update!

The Strongbow is like a regular hard apple cider, except it has more of a dry, non-sweet taste. I love it!! Yes, Bob is sweet. (again?) We are adorable (well, I am...) and I can't wait to meet your sweetie too!

Bob could give 'How to be the best DH' lessons. I'll sign mine up right now. You are a lucky lady!!

SD is doing really really well. He hasn't had any problems in a couple days. WHEW! The sharks SCARE me! Outta my mind. Really.

The hubby's doing great. He doesn't have any pain except his throat (where they put a tube during surgery). He's got a bit of discomfort if he bends a certain way, but he hasn't taken any pain meds today at all. Thanks for asking!

Sorry to hear about your in-laws. Sounds a bit like mine, but since mine now live in our town, it's a bit better. They don't spend the night anymore and I don't feel the need to clean for them either.

Can't wait to read Bob's update (if he's feeling up to it). Hope he gets better in the next week! Flat Jodi is looking forward to some of that Strongbow Cider. It sounds good!
