It just occurred to me - if anyone else here plays Animal Crossing: Wild World on their Nintendo DS, we could trade friend codes and maybe still have small places to meet up sometime. :)

It's no VMK, but at least we could still visit each other!

Actually, AC: WW is a great substitute for VMK. When you think about it, AC: WW is really a small scale VMK a lot of peeps even have mules.

I haven't played ACWW in a long time but I'd be happy to visit friends on it.

my town is ruined but i'll see if i can get the wifi i haven't played in forever

I have the game too. If anybody wants my friend code, just pm me. I think it will be an awesome way to see you guys again.

Sounds fun. If only there could be more than 4 people in a town at a time...

Really? I haven't done wifi on ACWW before so I guess I wouldn't know that,
but I guess that's the way all games besides Mario Kart work now. Only
4 players. Mario Kart Wii supports 12 ;)

hmm idk how to get to my friends code and yes i have the game btw

Actually I started playing Animal Crossing WW in December and it seriously cut into my VMK time. :rolleyes1

However I run my wireless with WPA security (which my wii likes) but the DS doesn't. Do you know a work around for that, Lime?

OMG! Like all last month, I was asking EVERYONE if they wanted to meet up in VMK, but they never responded. I'm in!

There is no way around it, Dash. Lime & I tried for a while, but the only way we've found around it is to use ANOTHER router (hooked into our network) that uses the lesser WEP security. Our network isn't compromised because this other router is a DMZ and doesn't allow any other traffic to traverse our network.

It's not the best solution, but based on what we've read -- Nintendo doesn't appear to be making the DS's compatible with the higher security levels -- it's all we can do.

PM me your friend code :) I'll look mine up the next time I boot my DS.
