Meeting Transformers - wait times?

Hello all! As a concession for all the time at Disney, my bf and I are going to Universal/Islands for a day. (He seems satisfied with that amount of time, and I know I am.)

He is most excited about meeting Optimus Prime and Megatron - I think we could skip everything else but that. How long are the waits for those characters normally? We'll be there on March 8 - and I had thought we'd do Universal Studios after Islands (getting to USF around noon).

Any experience or thoughts appreciated!

We’ve only ever seen maximum waits of 15 minutes or so........in December we had around 8 people in front of us, September maybe 20 or so.

It moves quite quickly.

Of course time of year and crowds will vary.

We were there early December and met Bumblebee and Optimus prime with no wait at all and one or two people the second time. We also sat across the “street” and just watched the interaction for a while, the transformers are great. The line really waxed and waned, it would be empty and then 20 people and then back down to empty.
