Meeting sally

we are headed to Disneyland this coming week. We are disney world vets and it’s our first time to Disneyland. We only have one day for each park. . Top priorities for my daughter is to meet Sally and ride the Haunted Mansion. After that we will try to do things we haven’t done in Florida.

I have been looking at meet and greet times. Jack meets from 9:15 - 11 and Sally joins in at 9:40. Then they both meet at 12:20-3:00. I think it would be easier to do the 2nd meeting since we know exactly when Sally will be there. Its too hard to judge when to get in line to see Sally the first meeting and we have already met Jack. I was also thinking of doing the 2nd meet n greet to try and get as much done in the morning as we can since it is predicted to be busy. What time should we be there to get in line for 12:20?

If you only have one day, I'd get in line for the end of the morning M&G with Jack and Sally.
We have been many times when the characters listed, don't show as scheduled.
We've also waited 45 minutes past the start time for them to arrive. You just never know.


If you see Sally there with Jack later in the morning, I'd grab a bite to eat and have lunch/snack break while in line.

Thanks. That is a good point. As long as they let you in line they won't cut you off right?
Luckily our tickets are hoppers so if I have to we can try again the next day. But it would a lot of work.

When the line closes there is a CM at the end turning people away. All those in line ahead of the CM are sure to see Jack and Sally.
Say the the M&G is to go until 11am. CM's will stop allowing people into the line at a certain point before 11am. I just don't know whether it's 15, 25 or 30 minutes before.

FWIW we were there on Halloween, same schedule. We got in line 9:15ish, and got in around 10 - Sally still wasn't there. With pairings like that (Anna/Elsa, Aladdin/Jasmine) you're only really guaranteed to see one. Definitely ask CMs before you get in line if they anticipate her showing up if she's not already there.

Get Sally we got In line. Probably waited only 15 minutes!
