I'm not going to be at Tink, but I love that disney has these runs! Is it just chance seeing the blog post at the right time, or is there a certain time to be checking the blog for these opportunities? I'd love to try for this before princess if run disney does it.

I saw a post on Facebook from rundisney that said to check the Disney Parks Blog at 11:00am for a chance to enter so I did and I sent my email in right away. They only picked 30 so I guess I was quick enough.

I'll be there too

I missed out initially even though I sent it in pretty quickly. Today I got an email that I had been chosen off of the waitlist (didn't even know there was a waitlist) and was really excited.

I am so looking forward to the whole trip, this just makes it even better

So far we know that it will be a 2 hour event starting with a 2 mile walk/run/walk with Jeff Galloway through Disneyland and DCA.

The email said to bring our cameras and smart phones as they encouraged us to share this unique experience with our social network of friends.

Oh, and they asked for our shirt size.

So, Saturday morning we met at the Sorcerer's Hat near the Disneyland Hotel at 6:30am. We checked in and were given runDisney shirts.

We then started our 2 mile run through DTD and into Disneyland. We did a 40/20 pace but Jeff Galloway was running quick and I had a little trouble keeping up ( I wasn't the only one).

We got to run through the castle, down main street and then over to DCA where we finished inside the Animation Building.

We heard Jeff Galloway speak as well as Megan Price (who ran the race too). After the Q&A we got to take pictures with Minnie.

After it was over (around 8:30am) they told us they had one more surpize for us....

WE GOT TO TOUR THE DREAM SUITE!!!

This was the highlight of my weekend for sure! We were also given a 1 day 1 park ticket.

I'll post some more pictures later today, but none of the Dream Suite. They wouldn't let us take pictures inside.

All of these were taken by Disney and we were emailed a link to download them.

It was so neat being up on the balcony and waving at the people in line for Pirates.
