Meet and Greets on the DCL Fantasy and autographs

Does anyone know how to help a first time cruiser with meet and greets?
How do we go about it?
What about autographs from the Characters? Does it have to be dining with them?? Is it different on the DCL then it is at the Parks?

When I went on DCL Wonder, they would have a schedule of which characters would be appearing and where on the ship. There's a screen in the main lobby with the times and there is also a program that they give you every night with the activities/show times for the next day
