Here is the scoop. Choose a meet & greet spot. Make a topper for the area than chose a character you will find in that area and incorporate them into the topper and elemens you make.
For example if:
I chose UK/ than my element could be of POOH Bear/Mary Poppins and kind of incorporate the character into the topper.
or Topper of Ariels Grotto/ of course Ariel element..
Tomorrowland/ The Robinsons out and about! My kids think they are a hoot!
Due date is May 4th (that is when I need to receive your package. Please mail packages out by April 30th with DELIVERY CONFIRMATION. I will wait be mailing them back out on May 7th. This is firm because we are getting ready for the end of school now!!
The "rules" –
1. Choose a group. Choose your Meet and Greet Character interaction. I will do them by parks and as they fill up I will open another group. No more than 3 groups for each park. 8 people per group. You may sign up 2 groups if the spots don't fill, I will open them up.
2. Requirement: A topper for your meet and greet area
3. Please chose 2 elements – see the list below. Post your element choices. It will be fine if some of the elements duplicate within a group.
4. PM me with your DIS name, name, home address, email address, and phone numbers if you have not swapped with me before. Email and phone numbers will only be used to follow up if I have not heard from you.
5. Post your weekly status on the Progress thread - which will be posted after the slots are filled.
You must check in 2 weeks prior to the due date by APRIL 20th. If I have not heard from you by then I will send you a pm & an email. I WILL ANGEL YOUR SPOT IF I DO NOT HEAR FROM YOU WITHIN TWO DAYS OF THE PM OR EMAIL.
6. Check the progress thread for your status - it will be updated with ship info and received info.
7. Packing Instructions - use a Ziploc for each person and put everything for that person into their bag. Please label each bag with your name so we know who made each element. Place the individual bags into the larger (gallon size) Ziploc bag for each group you are in - be sure to include your name, your DIS name and your group number on the larger bag. Include $4.60 for postage (or stamps if you don't want to send cash) to return your items.
Please don’t send metered or click-it/ship-it postage – some hostesses have had issues with these.
8. PM me if you have problems and need to drop out or if an emergency happens (we all know things happen beyond our control sometimes), let me know so we can make arrangements for an angel or other help if needed.
9. HAVE FUN!
Ok - here are the elements to choose from (if you have another idea for an element, let me know and I will add it).
Element Selection:
1 Topper - 8 inches wide, 2 inches high, double matted and embellished
1 Journaling box and 1 Tag or 2 Squares - double matted and embellished, at least a 3 x 3 writing area
2 Tags - double matted and embellished, include either ribbon/fiber or eyelet in the hole, no smaller than 2 x 3, larger if you wish
2 Embellished Squares - double matted and embellished, 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 or larger if you wish
2 Slide Mounts – embellished
1 lg. file folder – embellished or 2 mini file folders - embellished
1 library pocket and tag – no smaller than 3 x 4, tag should have ribbon/fiber or eyelet in the hole – tag can be embellished or matted for journaling
1 License Plate – be creative here
1 Shaker Box – be creative here
1 Paper Piecing – be creative here
1 Matted Song Lyric/Poem, or Quote about the pavilion/ride: Song Lyric/Poem/Quote area must be NO smaller than 2 ½ x 3 ½. It also can be vertical or horizontal double matted and embellished
Eyelets/brads/buttons/charms AND fiber/ribbon - (6 per person AND 1 yard)
