Medication storage?

Hi friends!

My mom and I are Disney vets but this is new for us. My mom has a medication in an injector pen she takes weekly, that has to be kept cold. Two questions:

1. Does anyone have any recommendations for TSA approved storage containers for our flight? Amazon has a ton of options but I wanted to see if anyone had a specific one they recommend.

2. Will the mini fridge in the room keep the medication cold enough? We're staying at Wilderness Lodge. If not, what are our options?

We’ve had good experience traveling with FRIO wallets. If flying we have a small bag of meds that I pull out and declare for TSA.

I use a Frio pack for my insulin vials when I travel from Hawaii. It stays plenty cool. You are also allowed to travel with an ice pack for medication per TSA (although I just use my frio). I think others have mentioned putting a ziploc with ice in the beverage coolers in the room to keep the temperature down. I also though bell services would store medication?

I use FRIO you can get them on amazon CVS Walgreens extra. I would not trust the small refrigerator as they can be too cold too hot for the medication

You can request a medical minifridge for your room; we've never had trouble getting one. But, if they don't have one for whatever reason, bell services will store the meds for you.
