Medication question..

Just pulled out my Robaxacet to pack for the trip and it expired April 2009.
Do I need to toss it or will it be good for a month or so yet?
My thought is toss it..but who knows-maybe it is like milk and doesn't spoil one day after the best before date..

You could still use it if you plan to use it soon...medications break down in some way after a certain amount of time and become less effective.

Just make sure you bring your Robaxacet products with you to the US as they are not available on the shelf at pharmacies! I found this out the hard way. They can be purchased with a prescription only in the US.

Your package is fine for 60 days after expiry I was told by my pharmacy. As long as it isnt liquid....

If you are bringing it 'just in case' then I would bring what you already have. If it is something that you will really need, get a fresh one.

We really trust our pharmacist and she has told us that they are good 6 months after the expiry date. We also found out the hard way that they don't sell it. We had to go with Dodds, which did not work at all for my husbands back.
