Meat Markets in Kissimmee area?

Hey everyone,

I'm kinda new to the area and have had NO LUCK finding a meat market around here. I am willing to go to Orlando or St Cloud if necessary..Thanks for any help!

I see online that there is a Petty's up near Altamonte Springs. That's a great meat market - we used to go to the one in Melbourne when we lived there. But that might be too far for you.

Never heard of a sausage fest. What does that have to do with a meat market/butcher? We have meat markets where you can get any specific cut or type of meat, and it's really fresh.

When I saw the title, I thought sausage fest as well. Perhaps it's a regional thing. Where I'm from a meat market is not a place with a butcher, unless he happens to be there trolling for a date.

A sausage fest is a place where men hang out hoping for female attention - also known as a meat market. I have never heard the term meat market in relation to a butcher shop.

LOL, guess I do learn new things (or looks like we all do) This is just too funny! I am from the deep south, and our meat markets/butchers were one and the same - and never "heard" of the term sausage fest

By the meat markets/butcher shops being one and the same, do you mean that the names are interchangeable or that women go to the butcher shop to buy meat and pick up men?

LOL sorry for the confusion! I am just looking for some good fajita meat that isn't terribly expensive.

We had lots of "meat markets' ie: butcher shops in TX. We usually would get all our meats there. Not so much luck here in this area. Was hoping someone might of had some insight.
