Mears or Tiffany Towncar?

I've used TTC for the past 3 trips to WDW and have nothing but praise for their service.

However, I have planned a short and economical trip to WDW in November and wanted to know if it would be worth the extra $$$ to get TTC over Mears for 3 adults staying at All-Star Sports? How much does Mears cost round trip per person? Has there been any discounts since the 9/11 attacks?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

I would do TTC for the convenience. The only price difference is the tip for TTC. I believe Mears is about $27 round trip for adults. You can go to their website at www.mearstransportation.com to check. TTC is about $80 plus tip.

Keep in mind that tips are expected by Mears also.
We have used both services, and Tiffany is well worth the extra $$.

We used TTC in September, we loved them. My mom had wondered why I chose them and we didn't use the coupons we got from Disney for Mears when we booked. Then, leaving the airport she got her answer. Our driver met us at the baggage claim, helped us to the curb, loaded the luggage. Then, as we pulled away, I pointed out to her the Mears bus with the huge line of people standing in the heat waiting (hoping) to get onto that shuttle. Then I explained how they could have numerous stops until their hotel.
Well worth it!

Have fun!:)

I would pay twice TTC rates to avoid using the Mears shuttle. What a disaster!

Amen to that!!! Back in the days before we were experienced WDW visitors, we used Mears because we didn't know any better. Now we always use Happy Limo and I wouldn't have it any other way. The shuttles are like saradine cans, and it always seemed like our hotel was the last one. A towncar is the only way to go, regardless of the price...it is well worth it for the comfort and convenience.
