Just wondering if there is a place or book or web site I could go to that had discounted tickets for the Mears shuttle? I could go to a travel agent, but I'm pretty much putting the trip package together myself. I know, I know...I could do TTC, but since I'm on a strict budget, I can only allow for so much for airport transfers. Thanks for your responses!! :)

When WDTC sent me my hotel confirmation in the mail, they sent me a coupon for 3.00 off per person for Mears.

Depending on how many people are in your party Tiffany or Ibex can be cheaper than Mears. I was not happy with Mears after our last trip and am using Tiffany this time. Check it out and compare. You may get better service for the same $ with one of the towncar services.

roliepolieoliefan,
I'm staying at the Swan, & I didn't go thru WDTC because I wanted to get the discounted rate, so I'm not sure if the Swan or Dolphin are giving out discounted tickets for Mears! It might change though...you never know! :)

stoneblue,
There will be just my mom & I, but we'll be meeting my other family members later on in the day for a reunion trip.

Any advise? Thanks! :D

Depending on how many people you're transporting, I would seriously check out Tiffany Town Car service ( www.tiffanytowncar.com ). We used them on our first trip and were very satisfied. As my sister-in-law pointed out, for the difference of the per person price of the shuttle, this was actually about the same price AND we didn't have to wait, shuffle around with other families and kids who had spent several hours traveling and were cranky and tired -- it's like limo service at a family price!! And there is a $5 coupon on their website. Very reliable, helpful and courteous!! I believe there's more info (and a link to Tiffany) off Deb Wil's site at www.wdwig.com...
Good luck!! ;)

The TTC rents for $45 one way minus the $5 coupon brings that to $40 one way. Mears is $15 per person one way so for 2 that would = $30 one way.
Your saving $10 each way with Mears bringing a round trip savings of $20. So, it all depends on how much money you need to save here. That $20 could buy you a few drinks, a nice breakfast, a Micky Mouse T-shirt etc. We personally decided to use Mears because we are resort hopping and going to Universal at the end of our trip...so Mears will save us a few dollars.
