Mears Discount Coupons?

Does anyone have any Mears coupon codes, I am trying to book online and was wondering if any one had any coupons for books or something.

Don't use them. There are tons of horror stories out there. If you are staying with Disney, use Magical Express. Its free and even though Mears opperates it, you ahve Disney as the middle man to make sure you are taken care of. Last year, when DME didnt show to take us back to the airport at a reasonable time, Disney put us in a prepaid cab.

If you arent staying with Disney i highly reccommend that you get a towncar service. Its not that much more for a family of 4 and far more convenient.

Well we are only two... and Mears shuttle service (for 2) is almost half the price of a shuttle. I'm not trying to be a real miser here, but I don't think I'll be bothered by sharing a van with others after sharing a plane...

We are not staying at Disney for the first half of our trip, but we will be moving to a disney resort later and use the DME for our return trip to the airport.

But really, what horror stories... I'd really like to know.

Because Mears provides service to all resorts/hotels in the greater Orlando area, you could end up on the bus for over an hour or so. They could make stops at a lot of other area hotels before they even get to WDW. Since you aren't going to WDW to begin with, you don't have a lot of options. I know how you feel about it only being the two of you...I hate spending over $100 for a towncar if it's just two of us traveling.
I will say that the one time I used the Mears service, it was to POR (then DxL) back in '99. We were lucky and didn't have a long wait, but were put in a shuttle van...with about 8 other people. We were crammed in there like sardines. But, since we were all going to the same place, it didn't take long to get there. There have been many people that have used Mears and not had horror stories to tell..yes, some have had less than stellar experiences but for the most part, it's not so awful. For heaven's sake, we hear people telling what awful service they had with DME and people are still using that.

OK Folks, the OP asked for discount coupons NOT our sales job on WHY not to use it. If it works for them then that's great.

To the OP, DVC used to send out discount coupons but of course that quit after ME. I have not seen or heard of any discounts since then. Sorry!
