Mears Connect Small Price Increase?

Just booked Mears a couple of weeks ago for a trip this past weekend and it was the standard $32/person each direction. Was impressed with their service so was going to go ahead and book our transportation for summer and noticed a small price increase that is labeled as "*The rate includes the privilege fee recovery charge (PFRC).". It's basically a $1.60 fee for transportation from the airport to the hotel. It is not charged in reverse, so it makes it $33.60 per person now round trip.

Just an FYI, but Sunshine Flyer, even though they don't explicitly show the amount, do say they will add a 10% airport fee for all pickups from MCO. (Also a 3% admin fee.) That would bring their current specials to one way $13.56 and round trips 25.56.

And their regular prices (once the $12 special goes away) is higher than Mears anyway.

I went online to change my flight number as there was a flight schedule change and now it will cost more. A bit frustrating. I am not sure if I should just leave it as there is only a 5 minute change in the flight time.

5 minutes is not going to adjust your pickup time so I'd just leave it.

The flight number changed, unfortunately. I am not sure why, the time of the flight only changed by 5 minutes. It is our departure flight too.

I don’t think I’d change it, if the change will trigger an additional charge. Maybe you could call Mears and ask whether updating your flight schedule due to a change the airline made would change the price.

Update: I just went on and was able to update my flight number, and it did not require me to pay the additional fee!

I just went on to check their prices for our upcoming trip and it says it is $39.90. Looks like they have gone up again.
