Good morning everyone!

Another beautiful day here in the "city of the monuments" as they call Richmond.

Yesterday we hit darn near 90 degrees. We went straight from winter to summer. I miss having spring and a few weeks of high 60's low 70's weather - it's always one extreme or the other

Matt and I are kicking it into high gear to get our house ready for my brother's visit Friday. 2 adults, 4 kids and 3 dogs - in addition to my other brother's family - 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog plus me and Matt - 2 adults, 5 dogs and 15 wildly chirping birds!

Get this - my brother from PA - the one that used to live in such sterile conditions that shoes weren't allowed in his house or cars... the one that used to dustbuster you before you stood up from the table after you ate so no crumbs would hit the floor.. the one who's soon to be ex wife wouldn't allow them near any animals and now has 3 dogs.. asked if he could bring a cage down and get 2 of my parakeet babies!. I'm not sure but I think aliens have taken over the body of my brother - and all I have to say is THANK YOU ET!!!!

Okay - on to today's question. Matt thought this up when we were eating lunch the other day..

It's a french fry question

"Do you dip or pour?" In other words - do you dip your fries in ketchup or sauce or do you pour the sauce over them?

Surely he needs more than just 2 parakeet babies.

It's according to my mood about what I do with my fries. I do not like ketchup, so it's usually steak sauce, mustard, or bbq sauce if I dip them in anything. Most of the time, I don't dip them. If I'm in a very salty mood, I pour soy sauce all over them. YUMMY!

Ketchup is okay but my niece got me hooked on fries with mayo. I thought it was gross at first but I tried it and I liked it.

I always dip. I use Ranch dressing for my fries, though.

Dip, but not because of the sauce/fry ratio. I dip because of the soggy fries/messy fingers factor.

I also dip to avoid soggy fries and messy fingers. I tend to use a lot of ketchup when we are at a burger place (not fast food, a real burger place!)

Chilli cheese fries are good too.

I'm a dipper.

My 5yo skips the fries & just sucks down the ketchup!

My friend from Ireland does it the "English" way with Malt Vineger.

I said it depends on my fries, but most of the time I am a dipper (to the point that I will fold paper napkins on the table for my ketchup if there is not enough room on the plate. ). But I absolutely love chili cheese fries especially from Sonic!!
